What hurt the US was using the american flag so much in their presentation. Everybody knows that people around the world hates a lot of the things america represent. Especially in Europe there's a big resentment towards the US and using the flag so much represented something else. Plus the spechees were too political in nature.

The quality of this video is awful. Doesn't matter though, It was a great presentation, as an American and a soccer enthusiast, I'm proud of it.

US had it in '94 and it was a farce... I remember going to a bar to watch a game and they wouldn't change channels from baseball replays. Football's regarded as a girls game there... massive bore-fest if the yanks scoop it again. No-one will care...
