One method I used to use was making an X with the duct tape, thus leaving the tip exposed for urination,however this is really tricky and I only successfully did it once. Also, when removing, just get a bottle of citrus-scented adhesive solvent. Goo Gone works great. (Non-"scented" leaves you smelling like gasoline) A few drops under the edge of the tape dissolves the glue and it falls right off. Then just clean up with soap and water.
