@woa12 sort of both.. in pvp areas you can kill anyone, but you are encouraged to kill chota and and the other 2 hated factions. You basically get more points for killing the hated factions.

@massacer57 Lag never seemed to be a problem and I'm in Europe (servers are in America) so you sould have even less of a problem if your american.
the game WAS buggy, but never any game killing bugs, more often then not just little hitches in animation. Thing is i havent played it for a while so I'm pretty sure alot of the bugs would have been ironed out by now.

@mrbigdom88 depends what you mean.. you cant tab target, but levels are HUGELY important and its still very much based on stats, moreso then skill, but skill plays a little more of a role in this game then the traditional mmo
@FUNNYmOnEyy well theres actually a quest towards the end of S1 that gives you a sniper rifle, but to make it, well its a bit of a pain (but i did it :D) you have to buy the books for all the parts, then make each part individually and make a rifle (no scope), THEN make a scope (optics 2 i think) and then attach them
@tehcexymeowmix the pvp is very fun but it can be days of not seeing any, not worth it if your looking for a pvp game, really let me down when i realized how little pvp there is in this game. its mostly carebears who enjoy soloing pizza delivery quests and east egg hunts, exciting shit like "bring back 10 scorpion tails to cure the village chief and save the day"- everyone here is chasing some pve carrot and not in a pvp zone
@KrazyKain i love the pvp in this game hopefully the next patches will be good for it. i guess clan wars are coming that will open up pvp throughout the world. i just really have this need in games to look over my shoulder while doing mundane tasks and hopefully i will be in some kind of clan war

@KrazyKain ya they brought the physics back. but only for humanoid creatures, and it is still a little buggy. BUT, I've been playing it for about a few days now. Level 6. pretty kickass game.

oh totally, this game might be 'behind' in terms of graphics, but they hardly take anything away from the game. the character models look good, the terrain looks good (sure its bland but.. HELLO POST APOC DESERT! not exactly a rainbow of colours to be found there). but hey, not everyone truly knows how to appreciate a decent game... their loss
the music can be similar at times, but thats about as close as it gets for me.... gunshots hardly sound like something out of a medievil dark fantasy game :P

fair enough, to that much i kind of agree.. i think they should keep it the way it is.. but then make the fourth sector coming all pvp.. i doubt they would.. but taht would allow players to be sufficiently geared and prepared before they venture into dangerous territory
I just dont get why people assume that the only reason ever to pvp is full loot.
The game DOES have a reason to pvp and that is to take over the conflict towns. Granted it is NOT a pvp centric game but nontheless it has pvp and it has reason for it
why is it that people automatically assume that if you cant loot players theres no use to pvp? full loot is infact a rare feature nowadays and pvp is a huge one, clearly you DONT need looting to have good pvp.... anyway the point is to capture certain towns and unlock skills and quests. in the first sector, its useless, but fun.
Is this a good game? I looks really like a console game with an mmo twist to it which is sweet. Me and my cousin are looking for another mmo other than WoW, he likes pve, I like PvP but I don't mind PvE is this game good for both types or really pvp and crafting? Is it worth it to buy?
I personally love the game. The crafting is brilliant, PvP.. well you need to be in a clan to really get the best PvP because otherwise you'll likely run into a big party in the pvp zones and get whiped... but otherwise its very fun, and very tactical
only in certain areas... thing is, your a clone, and have this collar around your neck that does many things.. one of these things is prevent you from harming other clones (players) HOWEVER some areas are radiated enough that they interfere with this function and allow you to kill other players
krazy kain i just wanted to say hi, i accidently joined your clan upon getting the game and didn't realize that you were in it aswell till i seen your video again when showing someone else the game. i just wanted to thank you for being the reason that the game peaked my interest and now im in your clan aswell lol. btw it doesn't take 12 hours to install took me maybe 30 mins and about 30 mins of updates.
VitesseX because there is no lock on doesnt make it an FPS, its an MMO FPS hybrid, more on the MMO side than anything. doesnt have to be one or the other,as fallout and borderlands taught us (Just recently,at least)
It looks pretty slow, and empty but thats more than likely because the game isnt even released yet. The gun machanics seem to work great, and they dont sound like hasbro toys...I cant tell if those are skills at the bottom but if they are looks like there is a decent amount of them, depending on your lvl or whatever the game progresses you by.
actually the arenas are never exactly 100% full, its always like this, in that you just sorta hang out there and gather stuff till somebody comes along, that is until sector 2, with the conflict towns, then things get a bit more exciting, and yes thats a skillbar.
Also, if you decide on getting a clan, contact any SoF member you see, and tell them Kain sent you, I have stopped playing temporerily but they'll remember me :D

i am working on a pistoleer pvp build.. but i think you'd be better off checking the FE forums, i'm not the type to sit down at a spreadsheet and work out a build so mine are never the best.

I dont' want to say anything to knock your play, cuz you did fine imo. But the people that you fought, only one attempted to really fight back... is that majority of what you experience in this game? I'm playing Borderlands atm and enjoying it, and definately looking for something to get away from the kidfest that WoW has turned into. Scale of 1-10 for MMORPG, how do you think this ranks?
this tends to happen alot in the first sector of the game, because people tend to wander into pvp areas while harvesting... but in later parts of the game only people who intend to pvp walk into the conflict towns.. and this game is easily an 8. its buggy, but refreshingly different, and very deep with lots to do
look mate, this isnt call of duty, this is an mmorpg, and this is the first sniper rifle in the game, its got very low accuracy.. do us both a favour and leave my videos alone, nobody likes a troll

well to be honest.. if you dont like those games.. theres a chacne you will like this one.. this has a very deep crafting system, encourages exploration and has alot more to it.. its just not shiny

yup, you equip one handed weapons seperately so if you want 2 different melee, 1 melee and 1 ranged or 2 ranged, you can do whatever you want

Dude mine's way worse. I have probably, less than 10 fps. And lags amazingly. It's probably my processor and graphix card which are both ancient.
I couldn't even play the game after I spent about 2 hours downloading it.

PvP is nice in itself (combat system).
But it is how its implemented that sucks.
U can only pvp in 1 % of the maps and have to go to specific areas.
So its like : "Ok we're all crafters and like PVE, so if you want to do Pvp go to your sand box and leave us alone"
Very childish / immature...And very unrealistic considering this is a MMO set in a "dangerous" wasteland.
Also makes the factions meaningless because you won't be scared for your life from other faction players IG.

fair enough, to that much i kind of agree.. i think they should keep it the way it is.. but then make the fourth sector coming all pvp.. i doubt they would.. but taht would allow players to be sufficiently geared and prepared before they venture into dangerous territory

The game has no real PvP. Look for Darkfall if you consider yourself a PvP in any capacity.
Sorry, not trying to be mean to the video maker. But I played this game for about 2 weeks.
As far as PvP goes.. It has little meaning.. You really have to pretend and make up your own reasons to PvP.
Darkfall has purposeful PvP, with loot. Which means is a real PvP game.
Fallen Earth is a PvE game with a mini-game of PvP..
Also scoped guns are hard to make, thats why he killed so many.

I just dont get why people assume that the only reason ever to pvp is full loot.
The game DOES have a reason to pvp and that is to take over the conflict towns. Granted it is NOT a pvp centric game but nontheless it has pvp and it has reason for it

why is it that people automatically assume that if you cant loot players theres no use to pvp? full loot is infact a rare feature nowadays and pvp is a huge one, clearly you DONT need looting to have good pvp.... anyway the point is to capture certain towns and unlock skills and quests. in the first sector, its useless, but fun.

Is this a good game? I looks really like a console game with an mmo twist to it which is sweet. Me and my cousin are looking for another mmo other than WoW, he likes pve, I like PvP but I don't mind PvE is this game good for both types or really pvp and crafting? Is it worth it to buy?

I personally love the game. The crafting is brilliant, PvP.. well you need to be in a clan to really get the best PvP because otherwise you'll likely run into a big party in the pvp zones and get whiped... but otherwise its very fun, and very tactical

only in certain areas... thing is, your a clone, and have this collar around your neck that does many things.. one of these things is prevent you from harming other clones (players) HOWEVER some areas are radiated enough that they interfere with this function and allow you to kill other players

krazy kain i just wanted to say hi, i accidently joined your clan upon getting the game and didn't realize that you were in it aswell till i seen your video again when showing someone else the game. i just wanted to thank you for being the reason that the game peaked my interest and now im in your clan aswell lol. btw it doesn't take 12 hours to install took me maybe 30 mins and about 30 mins of updates.

VitesseX because there is no lock on doesnt make it an FPS, its an MMO FPS hybrid, more on the MMO side than anything. doesnt have to be one or the other,as fallout and borderlands taught us (Just recently,at least)

It looks pretty slow, and empty but thats more than likely because the game isnt even released yet. The gun machanics seem to work great, and they dont sound like hasbro toys...I cant tell if those are skills at the bottom but if they are looks like there is a decent amount of them, depending on your lvl or whatever the game progresses you by.

actually the arenas are never exactly 100% full, its always like this, in that you just sorta hang out there and gather stuff till somebody comes along, that is until sector 2, with the conflict towns, then things get a bit more exciting, and yes thats a skillbar.

sure, but first answer these questions:
Are you looking for a pure fps? (cover, headshots, quick kills)
Do you need the game to be class based and more or less force you to be in a party for PvE success?
Do you rush past the early levels to enjoy the 'endgame'
if you answered yes, then i cant honestly recommend the game to you.
The game is mostly solo-able (partying very much enhances the game but is never 100% necessery, not till much much later anyway)

ehhh not good with the pure fps, ok at them, except CoD, im pretty good at that (dont know if that really counts)
dont really like being in partys, always take forever to get set up, unless i have to
lol... rushing levels... i level at a moderate rate. im not a nerd that maxes out at day 3

I'm afraid you'd be better off asking elsewhere.. this is actually a crafter/rifle build.. useful in s1 pvp but theres a reason i havent posted pvp vids with my guy now that he's almost in s3 :P
i am working on a pistoleer pvp build.. but i think you'd be better off checking the FE forums, i'm not the type to sit down at a spreadsheet and work out a build so mine are never the best.

Ohh yeah thats the one i'm saving up for at the mo. its on the auction house for about 600 credits. I did a bit of pvp a couple of weeks ago in a small area near embry but it seemed like a mass gank fest, like lv 20s there ganking, im level 10 atm :)

I dont' want to say anything to knock your play, cuz you did fine imo. But the people that you fought, only one attempted to really fight back... is that majority of what you experience in this game? I'm playing Borderlands atm and enjoying it, and definately looking for something to get away from the kidfest that WoW has turned into. Scale of 1-10 for MMORPG, how do you think this ranks?

this tends to happen alot in the first sector of the game, because people tend to wander into pvp areas while harvesting... but in later parts of the game only people who intend to pvp walk into the conflict towns.. and this game is easily an 8. its buggy, but refreshingly different, and very deep with lots to do
