@eddymawAU its to help with the steering and to make it easier for 2, the more technical person goes in 3 and 2 can follow him easier, and the power's moved closer to the middle so he has less leverage and doesn't pull the boat around, as of course, the closer to the bows you are the easier it is to row the boat around.

GREAT location, nice rowing. WHere the heck is that body of water? Is it always that flat? I really always like the Argentinian rowing style. All the best to you guys.
