Is it true that there are no boarding hallways? You actually have to go outside in the rain and snow to get on or off the airplane? What is there some little truck with stairs on it?

How in the world do you make money with an airport like that?

It's brilliant. The closest airport is 2 hrs away in Springfield. Land costs nothing there - couple thousand an acre. Taxes are low. And you can bet that every entertainer and developer is invested in this thing. It doesn't matter to them as much how the airport itself makes. It's bringing the wave of aging, retiring baby boomers there.

Its nice to see it was privately funded. Aviation is such a heavily subsidized industry; this is good evidence it doesn't have to be.
