Hamilton blaming everyone else for all his problems........what a surprise. You would think out of all these incidents he could concede at least a little fault in at least one of them.
F1 drivers are expected to be arrogant, Hamilton takes it to a new level.
@ARF87Jimmy conceding a little fault in at least one of them simply for the sake of appearing nicer is not on, and arguably worse than the incident itself. you can see that he feels strongly that he is not to blame for any of the incidents, so for him to say that he felt he was partly to blame for some of them simply wouldn't be true, he'd be lying, because that is not what he feels. I don't know about you but i would much rather not be lied at if i had the choice, even if it was controversial.
@JelyIsCool I think you're right about him saying exactly what he feels. Hamilton's problem is he seems to have come to a point where he doesn't even consider that he might be at fault. It never occurs to him that he may have made a mistake. In short, Hamilton has come to believe in his own hype. He has been hailed as the second coming by the British media and he has come to believe it. Sad that someone with such talent draws so much negative attention by his remarks, not his driving.
@ARF87Jimmy Try looking at the other incidents when he has held his hands up and taken responsibility. Clearly in this case he has had enough, and to be fair he has a case for both incidents, especially the one with Maldonado, based on the fact he took Schumacher in exactly the same manner, and MS was experienced enough to be able to avoid a collisions. As for Massa, I doubt they would have had (as much) contact if Webber hadn't clipped Massa, which brought him closer to Lewis.
@ARF87Jimmy Ultimatley, the best drivers always get people who hate them, and for Lewis that is quite a lot of people. People can say he is dangerous if they wish (not that you did specifically, but others have) but he drives like the older generation of F1 drivers - that being known as 'racing'. Take out Hamilton and the racing and the front becomes significantly less exciting.
@aieljose Blag flagged for what? Contact is part of racing. Tke Dijon '79 for example, how shit would that have been if they had gone to Gilles at the end and said, 'actually, we're adding 20 seconds to your time because you touched Arnoux's wheel'? Racing has contact in it. You shouldn't get penalised for trying to pass, if you hit someone on purpose fair enough, but Lewis was trying to make moves, and then getting penalised for doing what he is paid to do.
@VxRSenna Maybe because he had two penalties during the race for causing 2 collisions. There have been other drivers who have been black flaged for causing 2 accidents in one race so what makes lewis so special?
@aieljose Because neither of his incidents were worth penalies, let alone black flags. You wanna show me who was black flagged after two incidents like Lewis' incidents? Listen to Sir Sterling Moss - racing is dangerous. If you don't like it, go fishing. Lewis races like a racer should - he is agressive. The FIA should be encouraging that, not supressing it by giving penalties. He races properly. He makes mistakes but that is what makes him exciting to watch.
@VxRSenna What about Canada? Are you going to tell me that was proper driving as well? Being involved in 4 crashes in 2 races is not driving properly. He started all of those moves which ended in collision. He would have been penalised in for the webber incident it he hadn't crashed out. If you think crashing 4 times in 2 races is "driving properly" then you're an idiot.
@aieljose lol. Webber gave him the space for a pass, Lewis turned in and understeered of the kerb, because as you may have noticed, it was quite wet. And wet kerbs are not going to give grip. Obviously when he understeered he tapped Webber. That wasn't a stupid move to try, it was just unfortunate. As for with Button, both admit that was a racing indident. Drivers constantly say the mirrors are useless due to vibration anyway, add to that the rain and it is impossible for Jenson to see him.
@VxRSenna Don't get me wrong, I don't hate Hamilton. I don't even dislike him. I think he is easily in the top 3 drivers in F1 over the past few years. Despite all this, he doesn't do himself any favors by saying these things to the press, and it's hard to be endearing towards the fans when you bad mouth your team over the radio or have nothing but negative things to say if something doesn't go your way. I don't remember him being this way when he started in F1, not even close.
@ARF87Jimmy Personally, I'm more than happy to see a driver say what he is thinking, rather than what he is expected to say. Maybe he seems to be bad mouthing his team unnescessarily at points, but if you expect a winning car, or you think they've made the wrong call, you're going to be annoyed. Peoples opinions change when they have time to think about it. A good example is Button in Canada, initially he was angry at lewis over the radio, then they spoke about it and both conceded there was no
@VxRSenna blame on either of them. If more drivers spoke their mind, it would be better. Maybe he takes it too far on occasion, but still, some drivers refuse to say anything other than what their team want them to say. I'm glad there are drivers who are willing to risk things to race, namely Lewis and Kamui, and I'm glad Lewis speaks his mind, because that is how it should be.
Hamilton is PARANOID. He lost the touch with reality and speaks his sick imagination. And he is dangerous in worst sense; he is most penalized driver considering penalty per race ratio.
@jasjeetsuri It's still not appropriate to joke about the stewards like that and not about race either. Doesn't matter what his own skin color is. He apologized, like he should have. No need to defend it anymore.
This is quality :-)
