  • I am transgender and I enjoyed your video very much! :)

  • But then what makes a woman a woman on the inside?

Does being feminine make someone a woman? Does being masculine make someone not a woman?

  • amazing video a.

  • I'm glad for everyone who accepts transgendered women. I'm a pagan, and a woman myself, but I have been with a transgendered woman for over 10 years. They are real woman. I also consider myself a feminist and I think that women who cannot see that transgendered women face the same challenges, if not more, than ciswomen. Thanks everyone who is accepting and can see things beyond the norms.

  • I feel that, in my personal opinion, Dianic Wicca is a tradition that is quite hypocritical, simply because of the fact that it is a WICCAN tradition, meaning that they follow the "Wiccan Rede". This means that they for the most part accept everyone, however sense the death of both the Women and the MAN, who started the tradition, its new leaders (such as Z Budapest), exclude men. Dianic Wicca is a tradition who follows the Goddess Diana Specifically, men can do this as well. Great Video:)

  • (part 2) And to add to my previous comment, I shouldn't have used the word fake. What I meant was women who aren't women with a rare genetic disorder causing their bodies to develop male from birth. But fake is the wrong word because part of my beliefs of reincarnation is that energies are constantly recycled. Our spirits return to the earth and then we will be reincarnated in a new life. So in example the spirit of a woman may be reincarnated in a male body for whatever reason.

  • I agreed with everything in your video until you referred to being trans as a lifestyle choice. One of the major problems is that there are real women that develop physically as male that doctors still label as transsexual even though it difers from the fake women which are men that want to be women by choice. The two get mixed up because even though its been proven the test groups have been so small they haven't corrected the labeling of these real women and throw them in with the by choice 1s

  • Men don't have freemasonry, freemasons have freemasonry. Men/masculinity cannot be judged by the standards set by a patriarchal and fraternal organization without making the inescapably bigoted and sexist assumption that you can judge all men on the ideas/standards/understandings of a group that does not and cannot represent all men. If you think of certain people in terms of stereotypes from an intellectually retarded and solipsistic point of view, then you are a textbook example of a bigot.

  • @midnightsunrising LOL calm down, no need to get your panties in a twist. I was not judging all men NOR thier masculinity, I think you are making crude assumptions based on little fact, if you choose to be sensitive based on a mere "fleeting comment" and try and turn it into something else then you obviously have far too much time on your hands.

  • @avalonmoon91 Haha okay, I probably do have too much time on my hands. Obviously I have strong feelings about gender-based meritocratic groups like Z Budapest's. I guess I'm especially sensitive to patriarchal ones like the Masons, because with my Mormon upbringing, I've had enough of the influence of the Masons on gender roles and other sexism within that church. I can be such a bastard some times when I feel like I'm judged based on what I've distanced myself from. Sorry.

  • I actually believe that there are dianic wicca groups out there for men they just have to search for it...but there are some women out there that need just an all women gatherings because there husbands might not agree with there wives goin off and hanging out with men they dont know or trust without them being present, and they don't have the same belief system as there wives do so they don't want to go and so the wives aren't able to go.

  • btw: the Eastern Star and Jobs daughters are both women only masonic orgs, I also MUST say I have seen more women that look like men , ultra butch, but they are welcome??? "We all come from the Goddess and to her we shall return, like a drop of rain, flowing to the Ocean"

  • I have been circling with Circle of Aradia for years, I once saw a reassigned woman being asked to leeve, she was in tears , I asked What other women are discriminated against , Fat, Black,??,I understand that these woman that needed medical treatment, have their birth certificates changed with a document that says this person was male, and is know female, so, when I hear a woman being labeled, "Transsexual women, Black women, Fat women, we all have womb space,

They are born with female minds

  • Pending comments rock... Dont poost that!

  • Three things.. Um.. I'm drunk!! So one is Diane wicca which is me dosen't suclude themselves to names that have been under persecution such as witch because everything should be right with everything at all times, two (that came to me in a dreamstate) effects men doies to themselves donot make them women, three i"m messed up by two and its pissing me off.. Which is a preety big topic...Number three is the best!

  • Sorry... I don't know how well the subject, Dianic Wicca, and science mesh, but the biology of sexual dimorphism is fascinating. Long term cross-sex hormone exposure even reshapes our brains to physically resemble those of our target sexes.

I do know, however, know that Wicca is big on nature. So in cases where offending gonads are removed by way of surgery, and bioidentical hormones administered, there should be no discrimination on those grounds. Alas, this is more than most care to know. >_<

  • Though XX and XY pairings are suppose to determine which set of gonads we develop, sometimes they fail, and we get XX boys (boy bits & all) and XY girls (girl bits and all). Tissues which form both sets of bits are homologous, and the majority of sexually dimorphic characteristics are determined by long-term hormone levels - some effects being permanent. Hence HRT working best early in life.

Despite appearances & bits, people are biologically, down to their cells, male/female by way of hormones.

  • " I feel that there is a very strong balance between the masculine and feminine energies"

Do you see that this balance has been grossly/horrifically destroyed by the masculine? The world is dying due to the might is right mentality of patriarchy. Maledom has destroyed the True and collective Sacred Feminine? Patriarchy has even given the creative/birthing essence over to ... what else... male gods! I know my ques are blunt, but its just that I get dumbfounded when "sisters" dont see this.

  • @ShessaWitch I understand your point, however I think each individual as a human has the right to worship as they see fit without prejudice. I believe there is far too much arguing over sex dominance, is is too much to ask that we each just live our own lives happily without having to strive for dominace or forms of leadership over the other sex ? These agrguments only affect us as much as we let them.

  • I really enjoy your videos. :) im not a witch but i enjoy watching things to do with witches and spells and supernatural things. :D

  • Perfect.

  • Good response and deftly trodden :). I would just add I have experience of transgender women working within our coven and it is not just the 'suit' they wear, their personal and magical energy is also totally female. Blessings, Tim.

  • Are you one?

  • @fleshtheworld Could be ........... LOL

  • Love this video! Brightest blessings to you and your craft. I believe the term I'm looking for is "You hit the nail on the head" You strucked true!

  • I agree with you 100%. People also need to realize that it has been scientifically proven that men who are "women inside" TRULY ARE. Let's see if I can remember correctly...when the physical sex of the fetus has been determined, the appropriate hormones are released into it. Male hormones are released into male fetuses, and female hormones to female fetuses. HOWEVER, sometimes things go "wrong" where a physical male fetus receives female hormones and vice-versa. They TRULY ARE WOMEN.

  • I AGREE with you on this video 100% :) A person is who they feel they inside, and no one can take that away from them! :)

  • Another wonderful video! I think that regardless of the physical shell that you were given, its the spirit that counts. I am ALL FOR any type of Spirituality, as long as it does not promote hate towards people. You might be getting another Video response. :) Blessed Be!

  • @TheWitchminor Please do =D !! I love your input xx

  • Fantastic vid - well done.

    Blessed Be

  • I have never had as much respect for you as I do right now.:)

Blessed Be my friend!! O x

    Syker :)

  • @nature1053 Thank you so much xx You are wonderful and it means a lot as you have watched me from the start.

  • you are beautiful

  • @xmisamis Thank you so much xx

  • I agree with you 100%

  • @iHEARTjaywilliams Thank you, I was wondering what you may think of my video LOL I am glad you agree xx

  • You're spot on about the body being a shell..people need to just learn to accept that we all differ for whatever reason.I have seen a few rituals at gatherings that strictly state you must "appear physically female" These are normally rituals that have the option of full nudity. There are some women who can't get past the barrier of physical appearance.Even though some have been born male physically I think they deserve to be treated as equals. It takes alot more than body parts to be a woman.

  • See this is why I'm solitary because of haters.

  • I don't know if you've done a video on this before, but it would be great if you could do a video about some good information to read on studying Wicca/Paganism/Witchcraft. I'm new to the Craft and am founding it "hard" persay as to where to start.

Thanks for another great video. :)

  • I think spirituality of any kind, is personal and not necessarily gender exclusive. That said, some advice for Wiccans or any pagan, Craft etc follower; even if your a straight person (male or female) expect solitary to be your main practice and think this is the norm for most of us. The gatherings are great but sometimes not "all that". I think groups not gatherings are greater (for discussions) otherwise it's mainly solitary. so i am sure this would apply to some extent to transgenders also.

  • As long as they put on their advertizements "For women who are born women", I don't think the Dianic will not change their tune or ways. But that's their right. But like you, I don't have a problem with it. But in this world there are private clubs for everything. But I think religion should be open to all not matter what path is followed. Great vid. Hugs

  • Very well said! I admire your exploration of both sides. ;D I feel that Dianic Wicca is actually becoming more open to the transgendered community, slowly but surely. There's a closed group on Facebook called Goddess Women of the World who are of Dianic origins and became closed specifically to protect many of their TG members.
