Don't want to see the characters and their story butchered for future generations?
Then be appalled to know that in Lloyd Webber's unwelcome sequel, entitled LOVE NEVER DIES, which is based on a flop novella by Frederick Forsyth, the Phantom no longer composes opera but trashy vaudeville while not being a bartender, Christine sleeps around, Meg becomes a topless dancer who murders Christine and Raoul becomes an alcoholic and wife abuser.
Saw this a couple weeks ago. I watched the original 4 years ago, and decided to watch the original a day before seeing Love Never Dies, and WOW. It was stunning. I then, after being obsessed with the soundtrack of Love Never Dies for quite some time, started second guessing if LND could be as good. And GOD, it was!!! :D I TOTALLY reccomend it!! :D
Don't let the PHANTOM story or its characters be ruined by the desecration to the story within Lloyd Webber's misguided sequel, LOVE NEVER DIES, condemned by theatre critics and PHANTOM fans across the globe.

WHY WHY WHY!!!!!!! oh right cause MR LORD webber doesnt have enough money as it is! i wonder how he got that money? could it be off of that musical that is still on stage?? I WONDER
I'm still too conflicted over this thing to say much. But Ramin Karimloo is amazing. If this were playing on Broadway or Toronto, with Ramin in the lead, I would see it. Regardless of my opinions on this sequel.. I would see it JUST because of Ramin Karimloo. He's amazing.
Agreed. I'm still pretty against the idea of a Phantom sequel, but I've been a huge fan of Ramin Karimloo for quite some time, in Miss Saigon, in Les Mis (my favorite Enjolras), or in POTO (my favorite Phantom)... I knew I'd like the music in LND at the very least, if only for him.
@joevil2025 Think of it as more of an alternative take on the story, in regards for a sequal- If you want to believe Phantom was left alone and Christine happily with Raoul you can do so, but if you ever wanted to think or ever wondered what happened afterwards, and if She would have been with Phantom, this is that story
NO. Just, NO. Simply NO. Can not happen.
