McAfee is horrible. It's a memory hog, plus it doesn't do anything. Just sits there all "HERP DERP PURTENDEN 2 PERTOCT PPLZ CAMPOOTER." It does nothing to stop anything harmful.

mcafee doest give any protection but what it does do is slowing down your pc.

Avast 5 is free and does a better job.

McAfee sucks. I have tried Webroot and it gets everything, uses tiny memory amount, and works great.

Luckely i removed this bastert mcafee from my laptop,i have avast 5.0 free now and it is totaly amazing,my laptop is running sooooo much faster now.

i hade this version,this week i had an automatic update from mcafee to an newer version and sinds then i had internet connextion problems.

everytime when áfter i started my laptop i had no internet,and you won`t believe it BUT MCAFEE WHAS BLOKKING MY INTERNET EXPLORER FIREFOX EVERYTHING.

i scan a lot and my laptop is clean.

i made an system restre to the date befóre the mcafee update and sinds then everything if fine again

@vampirehunter33 Actually if you check the latest AV-Comparatives results, McAfee had the 3rd highest detection rate, ahead of Norton, Kaspersky, Eset etc.... :)
