War Leaders: Clash Of Nations: German Campaign: part 1

I really like this game. I know Hearts of Iron and such does it more realistically, but this game makes world conquest with any of the powers easier.

I once dominated most of the world as the SOviet Union, and got victory after bombing Washington DC and started invading the US.

I even played Italy and conquered a good chunk of Europe, Africa, middle east, and even the majority of the Americas.

Unfortunately this game's unplayable for me as is. It's a waste of my money, and I'm going to uninstall it. To bad. It didn't have to be great for me to like it. It just had to be playable.

I have the same problems, and i cant change graphics settings, because if i open graphics settings i have CTD... :/

Yeah, I tried that too. I even went with the lowest settings and got the same result. It actually works at the highest settings for a brief few moments, so it doesn't seem like it's my card or lack of processing power. It's just trying to execute something that doesn't click. I'm wondering if it's not DX 10 compatible. I know when you install it asks if you want to install 9.0c. I would think if I had 10 it would work, but you can't tell. Oh well.

Well, when I bought the DVD, it came as version 1.3, which if I understand correctly, is the latest version. I've seen the videos of the battles and am pretty eager to fix the problem, but it looks like it's a rather common issue people are having.

@ILikePortillos Yeah, 1.3 is supposed to be the latest version. If the game crashes when entering battles try with a lower graphic quality. It should help.

Hey Mr. Nygren, have you ever had any issues with crashing when entering a battle? I'm having the fairly common issue, apparently, and can find no fix. I think I'd really enjoy the game if it didn't keep crashing. Anything you can suggest would be appreciated. Thanks!

I hope the developers of this game will be motivated to make a sequel to this game. Fixing the problems it has, as well as giving more bang to the game.
