I could see killing people with a flashkick very easily. Landing afterwords would be hard. But it's a full on upward momentum kick in the chin. It could in theory collapse someones face at the least. Death by way of stopping brain function possible, but not so likely unless the person throwing the kick was an absolute beast.

So I think that it's important to realize that the kick takes the place of the tuck. You are pushing your foot forward into the kick and that gets you the full rotation.
