How interesting to hear about the May Altar tradition. I like the way it seems to have its roots in pagan traditions that still reach us today. We hardly seem in touch with the seasons. It takes creative artists to keep us in touch with Nature. By the way what is the charming little painting? Is it one of yours and for sale? How big is it? Miss Violet
Thanks for posting this interesting vid as a response. Coincidentally, blooms over here (a tropical setting) peak in May, so we celebrate the abundance of flowers through the annual month-long festival "Flores de Mayo".
great video ladies,i always like to watch your vids, the narration is almost(dont shout at me)reminiscent of my younger years with childrens television, love and respect scotty and libby:0)

Thank you for this comment. We are all connected and our ceremonies come from the same source.
We'd be delighted to see a video of "Flores De Mayo" if you get a chance to make one.
Wishing you all the best.

Sounds gorgeous (what part of Ireland isn't?)but our trip was from Dublin to Killarney to Sneem to Shannon. Its all just a magical blur to me.
If there is a next time, I would love to do the Northern route and bring Derby Pie and Benedictine to your folks. :)
Be Well, y'all. :)
