  • Parabéns, pelo seu brilhante trabalho social, rainha Rania! Um abraço do Brasil

  • Whenever I hear the term "global citizen" I run out and buy more ammo and oil my guns!

Nothing good can come from a world government, even the smaller ones killed 100 milion in the last century.

By the way, Queen Rania is unbelievably smoking hot!!

  • The Future of the Middle East must Lie in Farming and Agriculture. Building and Development. Engineering and Technology. Health and Biology. Chemistry and Physics. Space Exploration and Deep Sea Exploration.

  • Look at all the shills/self-projections 'commenting' on here.

Global Citizens = Slaves to the New World Order

  • She is gorgeous. Beautiful.

  • When is the next World Economic Forum? can you please post the full version of 2009 and 2010 please. It would be great to listen the latest one... Thanx in advance

  • if Queen Rania really cared about Global Citizenship than she would ask her husband to grant the millions of Palestinians living in Jordan who don't have any citizenship a temporary citizenship so they can live semi normal lives in her Kingdom

  • This is surely the New World Order youth wing. Not the NWO that is so vilified by the conspirict theorists. The illuminati were basically a group of people who wanted to use common sense, science and technology to advance mankind. With one global government we can overcome the troubles of the world from wars to global warming. We can direct the money we spend on defence to helping make real change without corrupt governments using it to line their own pockets.

  • arab women are hot .. Shame they have to cover theirfaces up but that's their culture.

  • Shes a palestinian u know!! yet she doesnt speak out against the attrocities committed against her ppl by israel, shes an american puppet through and through. Her and her husband hold absolute power like the feudal system europe had in the 16th century. Because she doesnt wear hijaab, shes a modern un opressed stylish woman according to the western media.........

  • Why is it that people like you always blame America? You said it your self "she is Palestinian u know!!" Why are you blaming America? Did America make her Queen? Did America make ABdullah king? Stop blaming America. And educate yourself more. You should read more world newspapers, so that you can better comment without making ignorant blanket statements about America. We are not at fault for what other countries do in their own country! Inshallah!

  • الاردن اولا_____ اسرائيل ثانيا

    الاردن اولا_____ اسرائيل ثانيا

  • According to a norwegian magazine, queen Rania was a big admirer to Saddam Hussein ! she loved saddam very much. She was quoted as saying ; " If it was not for me being the wife of king Abdullah I would've married Saddam without hesitation!!"

  • lol saddam is a human being yah know....

  • I'm sick of people saying that because you wear the headscarf you are oppressed.

I don't feel oppressed , i chose to wear the headscarf when i wanted no one forced me to.

If Queen Rania chooses not to wear a scarf thats between her and God.

  • You are right. but you have to understand that the Taliban did you guys that disfavor not America, not the world! I have many muslim lady friends, and as a women it helped me understand the hijab is a thing of beauty, religion, and self choice. Good for you and all the muslim women who chose to wear what they want! We just need to continue to educate people that are unaware of the truth, without being ignorat, or antagonist. No one is perfect! Allah be praised!

  • middle east is beautiful if without 2 nations ONLY 2 nations arabs of arabian peninsula ( ETHNICALLY and BIOLOGICALLY ) ,, and alos without the majority of iran

  • @ps1019 Except that my Muslim female friend who wears the hijab in Canada, and the niqab when she's in the gulf, told me by her estimate that 70% of women in the gulf wear it because they are forced to, even her. Of course, this is an anecdote, and I don't expect you to take my word for it, but the hijab is compulsory in two Muslim countries, and compulsed by conservative families, which is why it's seen as oppressive by some in the West.

  • @DaKrazyTwinz , in fact the headscarf if not between the female and Allah, other wise there would be no punishment for not wearing the hijaabb, it effects others, thats why its not just personal. Unlike fasting or praying or other things, which is personal. EG, not giving zakat, effects the poor as it effects them directly, the non hijaab effects the society directly thats why the order to wear it. if you doubt look at the rate of fornification and adultry in the west, it all starts from eyes

  • @DaKrazyTwinz Yes you are supressed.

  • i'll be very gentle with u lol

  • I know. She's so sweet.

  • GOD SAVE THE QUEEN.

  • good point... the puppet Arab kings are modeled after the British Royalty...

it's the colonial mentality.... except that the freed slaves still think they are owned by their masters....

  • @EgyptianPrinceCB In what way? Sultanates and Emirates have been the traditional forms of government in the Mid-East dating back long before the British empire ever showed it's face in the region.

  • The More Beautiful Queen and Princess of World. The Queen Rania is the exceptional intelligence, TOO.

  • GOD SAVE THE QUEEN "RANIA".

  • THE QUEEN MORE IMPORTANT DU MONDE.

Letizia la more YGLY du Monde. La Titanic de SPAIN.

  • Maravilhoso. Só mesmo da RAINHA "RANIA" a Rainha que sabe e tem cabeça para enfrentar qualquer tema. UM GÉNIO, uma Senhora que bem merece o Prémio Nobel da PAZ.

  • GOD bless you quenn

  • Yeah, India is very fortunate to have this Queen.

  • She is queen of Jordan not India

  • lol ...

  • the US women has no shame in admitting that the skewed global economy and its debt currency has created a global moneyed elite .900 odd people that have amassed a trillion dollars of wealth .this is not democracy the world does not need to be in a situation where they have to wait for handouts from an elite ..that have stolen that wealth using slave labour and indebting the populace

these are the false prophets that have been written about in the scriptures.well garbed, well spoken serpents

  • Damn, she is so beautiful in so many ways. what a woman you found abdullah, what a life. And the 2 of you are helping to fix the world. But do not stop now there is a far greater road ahead and the climb is steeper yet.

  • I agree. She is a 10+. May God protect her.

  • you're absolutely right!i agree with you

  • yeah with the help of saudi thugs .... who look away while gaza is bombed ...

    indeed helping out the world..

....just stick to being mesmerised by her beauty

  • i agree with homer30

  • arabs r soo stupid they r dead last in math and sciences

  • Thanks for sharing your ignoracy.

  • All rubbish, Rania first start from ur husband to give democracy to his own country and help Gaza to get some food. These talks will not acomplish anything

  • Dialogue is critical....I commend Queen Rania for facilitating well and bringing out the tension or shall I say cautious disposition between the political regime and the civic engagement by businesses

  • They talk a lot about charity, how to save poor countries from sinking more and yet they neglect Imperialism, american imperialism in particular as a significant cause of poverty. How can a business say they want to help the poor when their main objective is to gain more capital? How can a business say we gonna build school in Iraq but first we have to destroy your country so that we can plant a new economic system that will conform to American imperialist system?

  • How many schools were bombed during the Iraq war? How many houses where destroyed? How many innocent children died by american forces? How poor is Iraq now as american forces continue its occupation there? This is the result of businesses trying to destroy a country so that they can get in there and exploit its resources so that a CEO in NewYork can seat in his car in a traffic jam. This is a significant cause of poverty in poorest countries.

  • actions speak louder than words

  • Religion is about compassion...

  • subtitles would've been nice...

  • into Arabic? Could do with video annotations. Anybody interested in translating it?

  • Rania has been profoundly frustrated by arabic societal disgraceful realities that she was pushed into indirect desperate denial of her culture. She wants to make-for the West-an image of the Middle-East that does not exist. The Middle-East of Rania is a figment of imagination that the West would reject to believe, not for truth sake, but because the West wants the Middle-East to remain backwarded region inspite of all kind ingratiating initiatives and quests of the well-spoken Jordanian Queen.

  • well queen rania is not trying to deny her culture .. but she's projecting the TRUE civility and respect of her culture and religion.. the civilization the west brags about was introduced to them by US arabs .. as well as other middle eastern civilizations.. and indeed she is thanked for her effort

  • Gzaly, you wrote a lot, but God what are you saying? Stop babbling, and talk some sense.

  • in the english parts that might be a good idea yes...

but also there are parts where they speak arabic and there is no english subtitles

  • I respect Queen Rania's effort to help the needy. However, more effort is needed to stop the religious persecution including rape, torture, and imprisonment of Christians in some Muslim countries. For example, some Christians were deported from Jordan for practicing their beliefs. I believe in a loving and merciful God who commands us to love our neighbors as ourselves. Muslims, Christians, etc. should have the freedom to practice their beliefs as long as they're not forcing or killing anyone.

  • Christians were deported from jordan for practicing their beliefs?? When did that happen? Because you know there are churches all over jordan, infact there are certain areas in jordan known as christian areas, and there are jordanian christians , a lot of my friends are christians and few of my muslim friends actually converted to christianity and they go to church in jordan! So i don't get from where you god that info that christians were deported from jordan for practicing their beliefs

  • what a beautiful queen!

  • poor guy king abdullah.. i would feel so much pressure with a wife like queen raina.. she does his job..

  • help the needy

  • Yes. This is how it is done.

  • In filtering your messages, why do you always prevent from being posted the POLITE messages I sent, that respectfully had a different viewpoint.

My comments have been consistently prevented from being posted, when I respectfully presented a different viewpoint.

Is this refusal to diversity of opinions normal? Is this excessive control not leading to a potentially dictatorial attitude? Especially when what is voiced in the video at first glance, could not sound more liberal and democratic.

  • One hand can not live with out the hand of the creator. We are 5 different people's living on this planet as one, but we have no unity. shall I continue?

  • They need to get busy with their free time I support their work for charity better than they get busy with wars and more poor people pay the price of their free/fun time!

  • She is a fantastic woman!

  • excellent!! 5*****

  • I thought this was tennis and a tennisplayer.. and it's Queen Rania! I dont know the others.. Her Majesty, His Majesty is intelligent she is so smart lady!

  • How uncivilized is the so called modern world?

While billions of people in the world are toiling hard daily, there is this idle super rich group called the kings and queens who dont have to do any thing to live in luxury. So they go around trying to do charity without making an irota of sacrifice for anything but meeting in luxury hotels dressed in expensive clothes and passing their time.

And the press covers them too providing them un earned visibility and publicity.

    Sounds stupid..

  • agree

  • So, you're suggesting they should shut up, while they're the only people having enough power to indeed MAKE a difference? Remember, exploitation starts at that level too.

I would also point at Queen Raina's track record. Unlike the Gates Foundation which mainly focuses on imposing Microsoft on nations that could really do without the risk & expense, she has done a wide variety of fantastic things.

Her Majesty is a shining example of how to do it right - I hope more follow her example.

  • It is stupid. The ones that have it all are just trying to protect what they have. They want the middle and lower working class to support make all the sacrifices.

  • Why not support a local charity then? That's not supporting "those who have it all".

  • the question is not to wear scarf or not.not wearing it doesn't mean you are a bad muslim or that u will be punished by Allah ya mygirlmeme! i'm arab muslim and i dont wear hijab, but is it about modernization?! no, but everyone is free to practice religion as he/she wants and who are you mygirlmeme to judge people negatively just because they dont practice religion as you do??

  • i know tis is a long program but can anyone help with subtitles (i don't speak arabic... and these are important things to hear...)

  • Well my mother used to give me a helping hand, especially when I was a cheeky little bugger, she'd say come here you cheeky lil bugger, then whack me across the cranium & she used to say there's always somebody worse off than you, then she'd whack me across the cranium again, she was right there is always somebody worse off than yourself...ok they may not have a sore head but I agree there is always someone worse off than oneself...so the lesson here is ....stay away from my mother.

  • beautifull queen

  • Sorry, Ms. Rania I don't want to be a citizen of any word or country where there is royalties - stop living on welfare get a job.

  • sorry i pressed the wrong button to goldeneagle26, queen Rania is fine!!!!! yahoo! lol! ; )

  • What a waste of time...every generation just sends a spokesperson to "highlight" the issues and then when we get too old to want change and stop caring the next generation offers up a queen Rania....waste of time talking...

  • yeah

  • Queen Rania is such a beauty !! She looks more like a model or movie actress than a queen. She is very much like Natalie Portman in Star Wars III playing the role of Queen Amidala, isn't she? Hope she can be an example for her own people showing how valuable and capable women can be in society.

  • and what does that have to do with people's lives? being beautiful makes other people's lives easier?? it is about true words followed by ACTIONS, REAL ACTIONS... not just meetings and showing off beauty and small talk that any 1st year economics or political science student can do...

  • She does look like Natalie Portman! I hadn't noticed that before.

  • Excellent discussion with Her Majesty Queen Rania highlighting important issues! Practical examples for new approaches to locally led community development in Jordan (Jebel Al-Natheef) - I liked especially the encouragement for youth and their spirit of volunteering!

  • who cares if she wears a headscarf or not she is doing good.

  • how come she doesnt wear a head scarf?

  • coz she's a human

  • yes she is human, but that is rude to say that about oppressed women, that they are not human. Look at the video again, and there are many women without Hijabs. Muslims are Human too! I am christian and american, and a women. But please don;t degrade those you can't understand.

    Thanks

  • That women wear scarves doesn't mean that they are oppressed. Thats maybe the idea the media gives, but it's far from the truth. Some of them are, but many choose to wear a scarf because of their religious stance.

  • Because Queen Rania is what you call a Liberal Muslim or Moderate Muslim. Some Muslim women choose to not wear headscarfs while some do, its a choice.

  • headscarf's, or as muslims call it hejob, is an order from allah it is not a choice, if women don't wear it they will be punished by allah, in this life or the hear-after. so, hold tight to your hair before you lose it.

  • Our queen would not wear the head scarf , that would suck if she did that, thank god she doesnt!

  • Your queen would be disgusted upon reading your message. For someone who comes from a land that is ruled by a strong, intelligent, open-minded, and accepting woman, you are certainly far from attaining such qualities.

  • Wow!

    She's gorgeous.

I heard she has 4 children, is it true?

No matter, she's a pleasure to listen and look at and I hope she's as beautiful inside as she is outside.

  • Her shirt is a part of the Product (RED) campaign. Consumers can purchase these products and a portion of the funds go to AIDS relief efforts. They have currently reached over $50 billion dollars in relief. She's wearing the shirt as a statement for the cause.

  • I like what is written on the shirt!Hahahah you go girl!

  • I like her; she's gutsy and tries to leave an impression even by showing up wearing a T-shirt. Needs polishing though.

  • Does the Arabic world consider her a true Muslim considering her way of dressing etc.?

  • She came in a T shirt.. That shows courage.

  • when took this place? add the dates to the vids please

  • This session was held May 20, 2007 as indicated above.

  • queen in a cursed region of the world!

  • she is so lucky

  • Queen Rania is great and all, but several of you have damn near worshipped her. She's not some divine being. She's just a good person.

  • She is a role model!

  • Queen Rania of Jordan is beautiful, talented and an eloquent Speaker. She is an inspiration to one an all.Thank you for sharing this clip.

  • i really admire the queen of jordan.she is beautiful,at the same time she is a good speaker and looks at things with a broader view.the jordanians are really lucky to hv her as their queen

  • Thank you so much for this video!

  • so inspiring! I wish I can meet the Queen one day!!! I love her!

  • May Peace Prevail on Earth. The product of war is no population and the product of peace is Aesthetics and Art WorldWide. What is so hard about just creating? Nice Lecture by a Master.

  • All things in nature take the easiest and most pragmatic solution to things in life. That rule is true of humans more so than anything else. Greed and Lust overpower Reason and Logic when it comes to personal success and happiness. It is easier to rob your neighbor than it is to earn your own way, and as long as that is true, peace and cohesion simply wont happen.

  • bring the lords laws back and use the punishments he gave for those laws to put humanity back in line with god spair the rod spoil the child

  • If I were Jordanian, I'd die of pride from having such and intelligent, eloquent, analytical and absolutely lovely queen. If everyone in the world could be like Queen Rania, we won't be at war at all.

  • Thanks a lot for video

  • سبحان الله وبحمده

الله يهدينا الى اتباع نست نبيه محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم
