Shinnok looked awesome in MK4. That's when he was ruthless, and so freaking awesome. I think he could bat Shao Kahn, but it would be a close battle, and it would be BADASS!!!
he had a great storeline and endings in MK4 (except in Quan chi and Baraka), but his gameplay even worse as boss of MK4 was to lame. It supposes he is stronger than Shao Khan, Shinnok should have been harder than him, but "thanks" to his apparence in MK4, he is put as a normal character instide to be boss as Shao Khan and Onaga.

And for those talking about the MK game after MK9 (if there will be another MK game afterward), I believe they should bring back Liu Kang but as a zombie like in Deception and Armageddon...but only revived by Quan Chi or some other evil entity along with bringing back a few characters from the other MK games and maybe add in a few brand new ones.

I dont see them bringing him back for the next one, they changed Liu Kang's attitude a bit in the new game, and had him rebelling against Raiden (which is very unlike him). Liu Kang was supposed to stop Shinnok's invasion and become a 4-time MK champion.

@Alldayyyyyyyyyyy Not really, Shinnok fears Shao Kahn that's why he make those plans to get rid off him without any risk, besides Shao Kahn is the strongest in the MK series thanks to the god-like powers he absorbed from Blaze and somehow before that, he was able to beat Onaga who took him away from the Pyramid. Shinnok is one of the most powerful characters in MK universe but he ain't stronger than Shao Kahn.
@Alldayyyyyyyyyyy, the only thing I accually liked about the Shinnok character was the voice.
In Mortal Kombat 4, I thought Shinnok was a very easy boss character. In older MKs, after facing tough sub-bosses like Kintaro and Motaro, you get to Shao Kahn, who somehow is more powerfull than the sub-bosses.
But in MK4, after a battle with Goro, fighting someone like Shinnok seemed like...nothing.
Maybe story wise, Shinnok may beat Kahn, I dont know. But game wise, Kahn would slaughter him

You really Captured Shinnoks pure evilness. Just prooving how much of a badass he really is. He should definetly go onto future Mortal Kombats he was just too awesome for Mortal Kombat, a reason hes been pushed to the side for Kahn to rein supreme in MK.
Shinnok is just too great to be focused on. He was awesome in MKA, pure awesome in MK4. And god only knows his future can only get better. As long as Midway does him right.
