Russia also suffered massive air and mobile losses, not just infrantry, the tank/sniper groups destoryed their forces. I would look up the war a bit more.

Attacking, setting up ambushes, then retreating using guerilla tactics and killing a few innocents here or there, maybe get a "allah akbar" of it.

So? You think the number of losses contributed to the fact that the Russians retreated and the Chechens won their minor independence. Most of the losses were inrregular troops, while the professional troops were around the same number of losses as the Chechen. Even more that 100,000 Russians civilians fled away from the region.
Russia also suffered massive air and mobile losses, not just infrantry, the tank/sniper groups destoryed their forces. I would look up the war a bit more.

@Sayuasha: Heres one thing I know about the war. The Rebels killed a whole school full of children...And you stick up for them. Look at the difference of the two as a soldier. Look how they fight. 2:12, Haji spraying bullets everywhere. 3:21, Russian soldier taking his time aiming. The muslims in this war (and almost every) usually fight like cowards. Attacking, setting up ambushes, then retreating using guerilla tactics and killing a few innocents here or there, maybe get a "allah akbar" of it.

I don't stick up for terrorism, you should really read up the history before sprewing stuff. I support any country that rightfully won their independence (Russia invaded them in 2000-01) Any terrorism committed by the Chechens was condemned by the Chechen government and expelled. Using guerrlla tactics don't make you a coward, it showed your lack of maturity of even know anything of wars. Tactics like that keep you fighting another day. The Russians are not so innocent as they look.
