To be honest I have no idea why France is even considered a super power they lost to the Germans in two weeks and who was there to pick there asses off the ground. it was the Americans. I don't like the Brit's i think there very snotty. I love America and when i go over I would rather stand beside 1 US marine then an army of Brit's.
I think you'r right about the french... but you got to think, that if the british hadn't kept the germans of the coast, the americans wouldn't have had a place between us and europe to place their troops, and therefore they wouldn't be able to fight in europe...
but the brits didnt keep the coust clear in france where we landed we had to go punch out own landing spot out along with help from the brits and canadians but americans were the bulk of the force
ofcourse... I have the deepest respect for the americans that they broke the beach defences. They are a bounch of very good soldiers, especially when they come in great numbers, but I still thinh the brits deserve a litle respect anyway...

As for your d-day comment in a separate post, that is fucking deluded, where do you think the Allies(Without us of course)invade from? Think about it, no air superiority, no where to store supplies for an invasion etc, unless they want to make thousands of trips back and forth from America, in which the Allies would be demolished within hours.
