I'm sorry, the tune was composed by BOBBY TIMMONS, not Ms. Lee Jones. And the lyrics were written by Oscar Brown Jr. (He also wrote Work Song or Billie's Bounce lyrics, among other famous standards...

The original song was written by Oscar Brown, Jr. He performed it on his album "Sin and Soul" in 1960.

No it wasn't. The lyrics were given to this song by him, but the tune was written by Bobby Timmons while he was with Art Blakey and the Jazz Messengers.
