It is too bad that the real greatest Catholic churchman of the late 20th century is not being beatified today and no doubt with the Grand Inquisitor now as pope is unlikely to be in the near future. That man was of course Archbishop Oscar Romero, murdered by El Salvadorean death squads who were aided and abetted by the USA; maybe if PJP2 had been more obviously supportive of him instead of acting like a knee jerk anti-communist Pole, Romero would have lived.

Beautiful tribute, I am sure he is praying for us until we meet our creator. I don't think he left us. His mission it is still being carried on from heaven, he is a saint, who is will be next to us on our final day. A prayer to him, a prayer to us.
