To 23and516, Before I arrived there I was an armed security officer, so i feel ya! I am a New Yorker and I did not leave there for this!

I would also like to add that I do not like to carry my handgun but being a single parent with children I fear that I could be a possible target for that reason alone.

I appreciate this video! I live in Salem Crest and I have noticed the way the area has changed in the past few years that I have been a resident. Our once serene area that provided peace and recreation for our many adolescent residents has become an area populated with drugs, crime, and fear.

My neighbor was a victim of one of these episodes when their residence was broken into in broad daylight. I believe the only reason my apartment was safe was becasue I have a dog. I also carry my handgun!
