In terms of deaths, I'm sure I will be. Not sure about the damage caused when converted to US dollars, seeing how Japan has a strong currency. Let's hope for the best.
I think this fellow should be applauded for dealing with something so devastating in such a light hearted way despite all of the flack he will probably get from people who fail to understand the meaning of comedy.
I can't imagine how you would compare Haiti to this. Haiti is an extremely poor third world country with no experience in earthquakes whatsoever. Having lived an earthquake as strong as the Haiti one myself, I can tell you it is all about how well you are prepared. When in seismogenic countries like mine or Japan there are laws and regulations concerning earthquake protection, a lot less lives are bound to be lost... Believe me, this is going to be MUCH lighter than Haiti.
