World's Sleepiest Toddler, put to Sleep by Snoring Loudly at Him!

You have a very beautiful child. It's 1:16 am and my 18 month old boy is ready to party for some reason. He naps from 1 pm til 3 pm, goes down at 7 pm, and wakes up at midnight and is active until 2 or 3 in the morning. I show him sleepy baby videos like this and he likes them. He's sitting on my lap as I type. I'm exhausted, however. I need a Jedi mind trick to keep this kid in bed unitl at least 6 am. Any tips?

Well, I'm here with him now at 2:30 am. He had waffles and eggs this morning. He had mashed potatoes, turkey, and green beans after his nap, and had chicken and apple slices for dinner and went down at 8:00 pm. He doesn't get many sweets. I also have a 5 year old who slept through the night from 6 months on. I find one interesting thing about this. The baby is far beyond what our 1st child was doing in re motor skills and language when he was the same age.

We are back at 12:52 am. He eats what we eat, chicken, beans, bread, everyday stuff. He has never had fruit juice or soft drinks, just water and milk. He gets up for an hour or two after midnight, and then I lie down with him until he drifts off. Our older son (now 5) was sleeping through the night at his age and well before. I kind of enjoy Daddy/Baby time (I think he does,too), but I want him to get a full night of rest.
