Sadly the LEDs aren't bright enough, budget issue. for future projects are brighter leds better.

Maby if the whole apple light up it would give more effect. White plexi or glass with white film. I think your gonna have a hell of lightning to light up a room when the light is blocked and only rays on the sides. My english is not topnotch, hope you understand.

My first intention was exactly what you are saying, the apple is made of plexiglass, i wanted it to light up, but the light wasent even over the entire surface.... also just a cost issue, a backlicht of a flatscreen would be perfect.

also a point to be concidered for future projects.

just ultra bright white leds, the brighter the better, and with a lagre visible angle.

I build it my self. It is sadly not for sale, I would get problems with apple if I would do that.
