I'm pretty sure it was the tx2000. found it when I was looking for a laptop for college. I think it was a sale or something since I can't find it anymore. It also could have been a misnamed product, I see that allot on netshops.

I'm getting about three hours from the six-cell battery. The small battery lasts only about an hour. I tried out Vista's predefined battery settings, have settled for the Balanced profile. I didn't find much difference between the battery profiles.

I watch movies on an 8" Personal DVD Player sometimes, so 12" would be fine. =D

Besides, 17" isn't really practical for portability. I like that it is 12"

It's all personal preference. If you have good eyes, a 12" Laptop won't be a problem.

Just go to your local bestbuy or any store that has it and play around with it a little bit. It doesn't seem to small for me. It actually seems nice and portable.

If you want your laptop or tablet to last longer, always open it and close it by holding the screen evenly on both sides or using one hand in the center. Using one hand on the side of the screen to open and close it like the guy in this video will wear out the hinges prematurely.

Dude, you are supposed to turn it on in order to review it with the" big" battery attached to it. I own one of these [I got it from c.o.... for a grand] and it works very nice except that it could loose Some weight and some heat. I gets warm in hot weather, bat overall its a pretty nice laptop-tablet. And I still don't believe that they fitted the remote control in it:)

well just use common sense if 200 is higher than 1000 or if it came after 1000 then 2000 should be better than 1000 not in everything but maybe in the batery life or memory capacitywebcam pixels stuf like that but i dont think there is a mojor difference

I returned it since it overheated, was very slow, screen had dull color,and didn't play 4 year old games very well.

Sorry, I apologise. How did you send it back? With regards the screen, I actually thought that there was a protector on it, it was that bad. Did you get all your money back in exchange for a new one cause i think i'm gonna get a Sony. It is quite slow but i dont think its that hot. Sorry again

I have had mine for a week and I'm getting very frustrated. I don't know if it is Vista or the PC. Several times now it won't come out of sleep mode and I have to do a hard reboot. Several times it just lost connection with my wireless router. The Connect To function can't find my wireless router and just keeps running. The fan is quiet but runs hot. I can't get it to find my HP DV8000 running XP but the file transfer function worked. Other than that it is a nice little machine.

you might not have the right kind if wireless internet that your router has. is your router b, g, or n? and does your laptop support this.

yes, there's a QuickPlay app that launches the DVD/video player. THere's even a dedicated button beside the screen for controlling the DVD player. The Quick Play app and keys have been specifically designed for use in tablet mode.

Yes, the battery on the video was a 4-cell. I got a 8-cell as well. It is gives power for about 3-4 hours.
