What if you have a truck carrying all the buses, then there are an infinite amount of similar trucks lying on an even larger truck, and then an infinite amount of trucks just like that one lying on an even larger one, and so on?
The answer is Dave is doomed and needs a bigger hotel. I think the next video will talk about this, but I haven't seen it yet so I'm not sure.
Interestingly Dave would still be able to cope with an infinite sequence of bigger and bigger trucks of the type you describe. You have to go a lot further to get to the "first uncountable" (when you finally can't fit the guests in) .... however the real numbers are big enough to be "uncountable", as you will see in Part II Joel

Unless you can prove me wrong, you need the first uncountable infinity hotel.

However, I agree that there are too many infinite sequences of natural numbers to fit in the hotel.
It's a bit of a pain for the guests if they have to keep on changing rooms! Just imagine the guest in room 1,000,000 having to pack up all his stuff, and move a further million rooms down the corridor to room 2,000,000. And no sooner has he settled in, another bus arrives and he has to relocate again to room 4,000,000... This is hardly a "minor" inconvenience ;-)
It's a good thing they recently installed a superb new teleport system which automatically moves the guests and all their stuff to the appropriate rooms. This new system is so quiet and efficient that they can even carry on sleeping!
It is a very expensive system, but fortunately the Hotel makes an infinite profit every year. Joel
Actually, it is exactly because infinity + 1 = infinity that you CAN fit one more guest in after rearrangenent. Adding one doesn't really change the number of guests!

Keyword: possible. You should consider that there are things that a monkey in a deterministic universe and a set of rigid stimulus will never be capable of. There is a certain set of potential combinations that the monkey may repeat and never diverge from.

Alright, so all I was trying to express was that if all the monkeys experienced the same things and were identical in every way, they would all produce the same work (and that for special cases more complex for me to describe here or understand in the first place, the monkeys would not in fact produce all possible combinations of words).
This is a very specific set of circumstances; I wasnt meaning to contradict anything you said in your original post but thought it was an interesting idea.
