Something has happened to most of these pictures.

Go watch -14.899502,-69.1852 on Google Maps. Seems the old image has been overlapped by a new one with "smoother" water which looks highly unsuspicious.

maybe it's just an error of pixels .... but the strange thing is that the structure seems to make sense, if it's really the fault of the lens of the satellite should not make massively images with a meaning, but massively images without sense.the probabilities that an error of pixel looks like something made of (real) I see very little .... but I'm not an expert on satellite massively images and maybe I'm wrong

lens resonance feedback... a common problem with satellite imaging systems. You will find thousands of areas with these patterns in them. Not just in featureless lakes, but also in featureless shadows, featureless surfaces and any area with lots of the color cyan in it.

It is nothing more than pixel artifacts left over from errors during digital capturing and processing. This type of problem is common with all satellites... even military spy satellites get this sometimes.
