@costib I dont speak or understand Zulu, but I read a long time ago that this song's title literally means "Open the gate" when translated into English. In the song, her son is getting married today and she wants the people in the town to open the gate so that he can enter with his bride. No one thought he could get a wife, but she will finally have a daughter in law
Ive been looking for this song for the longest! I always hear it at African & West Indian nightclubs & parties, but I had no clue what the title was or who the singer was... Either way, ILUVIT! :) Thanks for posting!
your right this song was very big when i was back in ethiopia, lots of ppl loved it even though they had no idea what the song was about. I actually did a dance to this song i cant just get enough of it that why i made a slideshow.
I am from Congo. I don't know all the words, but this is one of the top songs for Africans in our history, the melody, the dance, and the history behind this song makes this song so special. God bless her soul
please stop going on about not knowing what the song is about. just like it. as though you understand lil wayne

Oops! Here is the correct translation: There is a Zulu word "Vulindlela", it means "the one who opens the gate".
