No fault. Trying a Bike's Limit is part of driving. Warmup your tyres more before trying such things. Too much slipping often cause of wrong temperature or pressure. You try a brakekick drift, that's hard for beginning.

Simple way to drift a SM is to lean the bike up in a corner, then press clutch and make gaskick at the same time. Now fast lean in and downshift with not stoping gaskick. From that point it's your point of explore how far you can go.

Only tipps for some people here.

sorry but that didn't sound like a propper drifting... try to lean first then gently brake (gently>harder>harder>etc) until you hear the rear tyre "yelling" or going (very) little sideways... it worked for me :D

@rexolito Both brakes. Brake with the rear just before it locks and control it with front brake. It still takes a lot of practice before mastering the art of sliding. If it is a 4t you can control the slide by downshifting without clutch too

@maradeanu it' s nearly impossible to slide with a 2 stroke because the engine brake is not powerful than the brake of a 4 stroke, I tested it with my Honda Crm 50cc :D

@Alex1Joey999 it very good you don't have so much engine brake because it makes it easier to shift while sliding. Also if you want to initiate the slide you can downshift without clutch.

BTW: small cc already have low to almost no engine brake, that dt has some more then you have :)

I always to that on track. But it's better if you keep your engine on low to mid rpm while in engine brake because 2 strokers don't have good lubrification when gas is off

Haha so close man soon as u feel/hear the back tire flutter like that it just means u were not going fast enough belive it or not u have to go fast so that it is constantly locked up when u go threw the corner. Sometimes it still flutters when ur goin fast because the tire actully jumps up and down. But if ur ever experiencing the flutter just pull in the clutch for the most part it will stand you right back up

Sliding properly with a 4 stroke is not easy, sliding properly with a 2 stroke is very hard. Cheers for the video.

I'm not sure what happened, but I think the rear wheel got locked due too hard braking. It happens... I'm riding daily with my moped, even I lock my wheel a few times, not on purpose ofcourse, because people do stupid things with their car...
