  • Wow... she's beautiful!

  • 66.150.121.155:27015 -- -- 1942

  • why does the us have to convince russia its not a live missile its obvious russia has nuclear wepeans so why dont they let us have them

  • @elmoskater we do have nuclear weapons. they are just on a smaller scale compared to this silo.

  • @homidog11 its obvious us has nuclear bombs that are over 20mt it wouldnt suprise me if they serectly have something more powerfull then the tsar bomb hidden somewere

  • I'm just wondering, but is it not illegal to photograph the inside of a silo? Would that not be considered a security risk? - If I asked to go into the local nuclear power plant to take photos, they would have me in cuffs before I had the camera out of my bag.. -no employees at the nuk power plants are allowed to have cameras when at work. for security reasons, why is this on Youtube?

  • @Crpetersena Because it is declassified and disarmed silo. That isn't a working sight anymore

  • @Crpetersena That is a good point. Prier to filming this I asked the people in charge if I was allowed to film. I'm not sure under what circumstances though.

  • @homidog11 Don't get me wrong, it is an extremely interesting video.

  • is that inside a military base

  • stupid music

  • Thumbs down for shitty music.

  • they flooded the titan silos by yuba city

  • hey.apparently the good guys have been disabling these mother fuckers;guys from our future, or guys from more evolved races on other planets (you know, you must of heard of it...peace ful beings?)lol

  • nice video! nice soundtrack!

  • i was expecting 2 key holes and a big red button with a cherry light and alarm. :D

  • I wonder if one of these silos super indestructable could with stand direct hit from an asteroid the like kind that killed dinosaurs 65 million years ago?

  • @deltaalphaone1 it would probably be destroyed, considering asteroids that size leave mile deep holes

  • @homidog11 Good Answer I agree I agree..! Ever wonder what hit Tunguska Russia? now that was peculiar huh? I think it was very Alien in nature..they picked up radiation all over that place...HMMM?

  • @deltaalphaone1

Well they were build to survive a direct hit from another nuclear missile. So i am guessing ya it will survive it. lol

  • @44971719785648751978 I tell you what you hide in the silo OK please take a look at Berringer crater in AZ...that was the size of volkswagon ---one that hit 65,000,000 years ago left crater 500 miles wide and probably 2 miles deep...that was 15 miles across..if one hit the size of Manhattan ie 25 miles.... everything in the silo would be ejected into outerspace and the whole Earth would be Vaporized! Crater would be 100 miles across and 20 miles deep!

  • @deltaalphaone1

    Don't be trolling. :p

All i know is your safer from a blast as long as your in one.

  • @44971719785648751978 whats trolling? I get instant alerts when replys come in..so I commnet back...

  • @deltaalphaone1 They aren't even able to take a direct hit from a nuke so I don't see it holding up against asteroid. Even a little bunker buster would be able to take it out, hence why they don't use them any more.

  • @rigglesnz

They could withstand an air burst and even a ground burst so long as it was not too close. In reality the strategic defence was based on getting the missiles up before any incoming missiles reached their targets.

  • @TheSpiritof1969 Hence why I said direct hit, back in the days of the silos munitions were not accurate enough to get direct hits unless it was through pure chance. The strategic defense back then was based on having so many weapons that enough survive the first strike to still be able to wipe out the other country, that's where we get the term MAD came from.

  • @deltaalphaone1 It would be incinerated, probably by an asteroid no smaller then a 5 story building. A house size asteroid made a 3/4 mile crater about 50 million years ago.

  • You can buy a Titan Silo about 35 miles from where I live.No Titan Missile inside :-( they ripped out all the good stuff.Five acres with fence and abandoned silo for 60 grand.

  • @profsat5 did they fill the silo with dirt and rock? thats usually what they do so people don't get inside them.

  • @homidog11 This one is filled so the Soviets can take sat photos. There is one for 1.5 million thats not filled.I am no where near this but its got a web page. Its in the former Larsen Air Force Base.

  • @profsat5 thats a pretty heavy price to pay for something like that. i'm surprised they haven't filled it, knowing how much the government likes covering things up.

  • @homidog11 I was wanting to send you specific info about this silo but utube won't let me.I was getting the " error try again "message when I try to post.

  • @profsat5 need

  • @profsat5 20th Century castles is a good place to search for silos to buy

  • @chris37865 I think they are super cool.I had the pleasure of visiting one that a guy purchased cheap! He doe's not have a A/C or Heater in it because he said it stayed around 72 degrees year round.I was there during the summer and it was 97 degrees up top but when we went down it was cool about 72 I would say.He did say that he had a small heater for winter just in case but he has never had to use it.The inside is something out of Better Homes and Garden. It is super nice.

  • I make and sell nuclear bomb home kits

  • What a waste of the American peoples money. Should have nuked the ragheads with all of these IBMs. Then it would have paid off.

  • Chuck norrises knife

  • drop the music

  • @wojtuniakfrog This fag doesn't know how to mute his shit. What a fucktard.

  • The silo is amazing!!!!U2 sux ass.Can we launch this bomb against them?

  • When are they finally close and mothball this nightmare out here

at VAFB? The place has served the country well by testing

ICBM's and training launch officers. But after watching these

for 30+ years, redundant is redundant. Also the "Polar Orbit"

argument for the snoops is getting old too. If any place would

make a great Cold War museum it is Vandenberg!!

  • I pulled alerts at Titan II site 570-7 which was 70-miles N of Tucson in the early 70's. Although we were professional and highly trained, it became fairly boring and routine working at these sites. Every now and then, something out of the ordinary would happen like an equipment failure or SAC IG visit. I would love to visit the museum some day.

  • @harryreimers1 I just looked it up and surprisingly it was filmed here. the location is just south of Tucson Arizona in Green Valley

  • It funny because once upon a time you would have been shot and cremated by the government for even stepping foot by the front gate of this facility.

  • go AZ w00t!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • i felt like i was in half life 2 episode 3 or something.

  • The command center was sealed off, then the access portals were filled with dirt and rubble. 1 that I know of was fully excavated and the guy build his house over it. I found one where some guy backhoed it you can walk thru the command center and living quarters. Pretty cool. All the equipment was torn out but still lots to see. Was pretty hazardous thou. The rest I have seen are just surface concrete pads and filled in access portals. Kinda creepy overall.

  • In case noone said this already. There were 18 of these silos here in the Tucson area. Basically in a ring around the city. Therefore from 1961 to whenever the Soviets took them off the target list, the whole city would have been vaporized. I grew up here FYI. One of these silos is the museum, one is now a church, one is a big nursery (plants). I have personally visited 8 of the sites and most have the antenna pads visible. The actual silos were demoed with 7500 tons of tnt.

  • scary place, great video mate.

  • Бог может исцелять людей и природы и времени ... SLAVA CCCP

    славы украинских солдат

  • LOL, It says to watch for rattlesnakes... I dont wanna go in there now =P

  • awesome i went to cooperstown but you cant go inside the silo only the launch facility

  • a lot of wasted money

  • FALLOUT NEW VAGSSS

  • Yes its a minute man

  • @123cbear No it's a Titan II. Last silo one left. Historic landmark.

  • and your allowed to make a video there?? im suprized they never shot you because of it!

  • @comanche119 I'm pretty sure its a tourist site because in the DESCRIPTION it says the missile is not a live warhead

  • @TheLilman105 that may be, but i highly doubt they would Allow anything that is capable of taking and storing photos and videos...

  • very big bomb....

Nuclear war scares me. . .

  • Why do they hold it?!

  • Very interesting. 5*.

  • wow thats awesome i always wanted to see how those were stored n stuff

  • Why the hell would we have to convice russia that we dont have a live warhead? Are we taking orders from a forgein government? or does this have to do with some kind of U.N. treaty.

  • @IDrinkAl0ne Look up "SALT TREATY" on wikipedia. Don't worry..we fly our satellites over their nuke silos,too...just to make sure they're holding up their end of the bargain!

  • Is this a Minuteman II site?

  • Very funny. The "Danger R F Radiation" Is translated into Spanish.

  • now that is one BIG missile!!!

  • ive seen it i live in tucson....

  • and.....?

  • Every time they disable one of these, the world becomes a little less safe.

  • here here

  • how so?

  • LIGHTRONIX

Why would you even have to ask?

Nuclear weapons are here to stay.

Both Russia and China are potential peer adversaries, not to mention North Korea, Iran, or any rogue state that aquires nukes.

Nuclear weapons technology exists, it's not going to disappear, someone will ALWAYS have them, and if you're not prepared to defend yourself against them then you will be subjugated by whoever has them.

    It's kind of like, 1+1=2.

  • @dbviewer5 oh i see you mean america disabling them, yea ur right

  • damn i hate this stupidity putting billions of dollars to be able to destroy the world a couple of times over.. sad stuff.. people r starving all over the world y'knw.. and who's the nitwit who edited the crappiest band ever on this movie of horror?

  • hey jerk, dont like it, dont watch, and certaintly dont comment if you dont care for it assmunch. We need these kinds of weapons for morons like you

  • rocket launches ftw

  • nice vid

  • thank you

  • Awsome

  • Love this Video and this song is TEReFFIC! 5 stars Defff!!!! :D :D :D :D :D

  • cool video and i really like that song 5 stars and i'm gonna favoritye it

  • Thank you a lot

  • where is that?

  • look in the description

  • @Mine5555555 near tuscan arizona

  • Sundayy Bloody Sunnndayyyyy!

Nice! So you can just walk into a nuclear missle silo?

  • pretty cool

  • thats awsome, i've never actully seen a missle silo, but seing one in person would be so cool, nice vid

  • awsome vid. the only scary bit is that if theres a world war III. that all nuclear facilaties will become reactive. evry one will either be blown to shyte or exposed to nuclear radeation

  • that was cool. How were you able to get inside?

  • they had a hatch near the top of the silo, you can see it in the video

  • ah, i didn't realize it was fully open to the public. That's sweet.

  • It may be the only fully open one in the country ( world?).
