Can someone please explain this feeling to me...? I've read the whole manga and I LOVED IT. Absolutely. But this whole idea of them restarting their relationship as a "clean slate" and the fact that they were so "okay" with being seperated for four years. What were they trying to accomplish within those four years of absence, and why do they act as if the past was so bad and that they needed a clean slate? I love them but I need explanation on this thanks.

@eragon1730 They broke-up the 2nd time, because Junpei thought that the relationship would hold both of them back from reaching your dreams. Junpei said he will wait for her in next 4 years and be better man that Nishino deserves. As you know, Junpei been indecisive with his love life for the whole series.

Why only manaka and nishino become lovers in the end, since its a love manga shouldn't the others all found their love espicially satsuki. Even thought you can't really picture aya with anyone else other than manaka, i think deep down she would always be grateful for him helping her realise her true potential, but since they were destined to be together does that mean aya would always wait for manaka? you can't confirm that manaka would one day return back to aya.

@TheLimhuijin The writer chose to end it showing only junpei and nishino coming together. He did write that Aya will have a bright future and will find happiness in her own love life. In fact, he said everyone will have a bright future.

@TheLimhuijin actually we can confirm that manaka will never leave nishino ... in one of the last chapters cant remember it ... i think 156 or smth ... he sais that nishinos sad face hurts him more then tojos tears .. and he says in the last chapter that waited for nishino and he finally got to see his beloved nishino .... in my opinion this is the right ending for the manga ... satsuki or whatever her name is .. srry saw the anime over 2 years ago i think ... wasnt right neither is toujo

@vansonbee yea ,,, and this choice he made set this anime/manga apart from other of this tipe ... cuz in tue usual manga the main char falls in love with the main heroine which is pure logic but in this (and in peach girl - another great love storry anime which i recomand) the main character makes a different choice because he simply cant control with whom he falls in love

@miniman423 They are still together, each with their own paths that are still intertwined. Satsuki is the lady-boss of a dining place. Aya is an acclaimed writer.

I love the way they ended togther she was the right choose 4 him, heres why she was always thinkin about him not over bearing and she was welling too put her self. what i trying too say is that is was realistic she has dreams like anyone else so she went after it even if it meent lose some she loved with all her heart. but she know no matter what she would have her love waitin 4 her to come back if they were meent to be so no matter the time and space between them it would end happy 4 them

whenever junpei down nishino always on his side although they rarely meet each other.. maybe toujou share the same dream with manaka.. but nishino share the same pain and always give constant cares toward junpei.. i feel sorry for toujou but i got the feeling when read this manga that nishino is the best for manaka junpei.. I'M REALLY GLAD TO BE LIVED TIL NOW SO I CAN FINISH THIS MANGA! WONDERFUL ENDING! I wish that someone like NISHINO & TOUJOU really exist in real life!

Man, while I love the morals, development and feelings with the complex love stories like in this one, there is the truth that if there is more then 2 it is a guarantee that at least one heart gets broken. Because all the lovers were given a depth and all had a somewhat change to end up with Manaka (except for Kozue) their rejections were also quite painful for us readers. And what do you do? You start of with Toujous rejection XD. Even though I am a Nishino supporter it reawakened the feelings.

it's very nice he ended up with nishino. if he ends up with aya after all the circumstances, it will already be unrealistic because he made it so clear that he loves nishino. aya is more of a companion he shared dreams with but nishino was the one he shared love with. ^_^
