  • This is great! Good work to whoever put this together.

  • The more you make the more they take :(

  • Carlin and Hicks are in a whole different spectrum than Ron Paul. I mean Ron Paul is an amazing politician, but he is but a mere example of what EVERY politician should be like, Liberal, Libertarian, or conservative. We're just too used to corporate shills and assholes, Ron Paul raises the bar so much we see him as a "messiah" of sorts. That's just my personal belief.

  • @IntoTheMind91 I agree with this rather strongly, Carlin and Hicks are very different from Paul. But more politicians SHOULD be more like ron paul, just cause he's honest. If Obama was this honest, things would have been very different.

  • joe rogan is missing in this video

  • VOTE FOR RON PAUL!!!!! PLEASE GOD..AMERICA VOTE FOR RON PAUL!!!!

  • Don't try to compare great minds like Hicks and Carlin to Ron Paul. Paul believes in selling us out to corporations, something that George and Bill would be stridently against. Please, hippie college kids, please learn that beyond the cool "socially liberal" aspect of Libertarian philosophy is the frightening mandate to deregulate corporations and let greed run rampant.

  • @DerekScottBland I am completely and utterly appalled at how ignorant you really are. Free Market is NOT correlated with "selling" us out to corporations. Wiki "Free Market" and READ! -.-

  • @DerekScottBland Common sense wouldnt allow your line of thought.

  • i knew this video existed in my heart before i looked for it....

  • Thanks for the upload.

  • I know Hicks and Paul's ideas really, really well. Along with Gandhi, and MLK they are probably the most influential people to my thinking. Believe me, I'm aware of what they have in common and what they don't. Reagan talked a good libertarian talk pre 1980, which RP agreed with, but once he became president he did become the facsist, and RP spoke out against it. RP and Hicks both:1. anti-war 2. anti-drug war 3. pro civil liberties..(Hicks is rolling in his grave post 9/11.)

  • You keep bringing up science as the "authority". I think the subtle point I want to make is that it is up to the individual to decide what is good science or bad science. This is what freedom looks like. What we don't want is the government to decide what reality is. I know its scary with all the creationists or whatever you disagree with, but its better than the alternative, which ultimately is facsism..The EPA protects oil industry, FDA protects Monsanto. That's not capitalism.

  • You keep bringing up science as the "authority", or as "truth".

  • Hey, put a video of Bill Hicks talking about idiot creationists and pro-lifers along with Ron Paul's statements.

    Lets get with it.

Wants pure unregulated capitalism to destroy workers rights, won't put any legislation to stop oligopolies and the like, will by his libertarian values let creationism be taught in schools, will put forth no legislation on Global warming and of course let deregulated companies do what ever the fuck they want.

    He can get fucked.

  • He's also opposed to Network Neutrality, so it would basically turn the internet into Fox News and continue with the systematic destruction of our individuality that he so 'protects'

  • @TheAsymmetrical Again you are wrong. Just like "THe PAtriot ACt" was patriotic in name only, That NN bill was a trojan horse, and was designed to regulate the internet by establishing jursdiction. RP is VERY pro-unregulated internet.

  • @adaptogen23 So who's gonna regulate pollution? tiny government? Boycotts maybe? Ron Paul said it was okay for Internet providers to determine what they can do with it, the Network Neutrality Movement has been going on for quite some time and is probably one of the few reasons you know about Ron Paul right now. Paulites seem so quick to judge regulation as if every regulation is a fucking bad thing, there are some very silly regulations that should be removed, but don't fuck with NN.

  • @TheAsymmetrical Pollution can best be regulated in a libertarian society, because of the adherence to property rights. If someone pollutes the air you breathe, you can sue them. BECAUSE of the EPA and other regulatory agencies (who've become govt. arms of big biz), you cannot sue them because the govt. regulates, and gives them permission to pollute. The regulations do serve a purpose, and that is to drive up costs of compliance so high that only govt. insiders and big biz can thrive.

  • @TheAsymmetrical Under a constitutional or libertarian govt, pollution is very illegal, because it violates property rights. So, you are wrong. The corporations don't like libertarianism. They like fascism, which is what we have. LIBERTARIANISM IS THE ENEMY OF WALL ST.

  • So, you want a small, corporate-elected group to decide what every school in the country can teach, as opposed to letting the states decide? What's the logic there? You don't trust people to make their own decisions? You need the nanny state? In a constitutional / libertarian society, there would be more choice in education and competition, so it would be more affordable. What gives? You don't like people having freedom unless they agree with you?

  • @adaptogen23 Democracy does not decide Science, nor do politicians, the states already do this with the 'Boards of Education' shitting on the intelligence of great young minds by poisoning them with unnecessary shit, why do we need more choice in Science? Would you criticize someone for teaching Intelligent Falling as opposed to Gravity? Would you teach someone the stork theory or about Sex? It's not freedom for the kids who have to learn such drivel.

  • @TheAsymmetrical so, you are not for freedom? As a parent, I decide what I expose my kid to. I don't trust the government to do that job. Do you? Should parents have that right? Your mentality demonstrates a simplistic, well-meaning liberal mentality that plays right into the hand of the establishment. Are you happy with what you're getting? Government is involved in pretty much every aspect of your life.

  • @adaptogen23 Okay, you've lost me here, you're all for the indoctrination of kids with lies as long as it is in the name of freedom? The Education system in Ireland is abysmal but not as bad as what I've heard from the U.S, I grew up in a Catholic school that pushed Creationist drivel down our throats - Let me tell you, not too many scientists came out of my graduating year. I don't trust the current government(s) at all no, I do however trust Science.

  • @TheAsymmetrical NO I am not for indoctrination of lies. I am for freedom of choice, which allows me the right to be an idiot or a great scientist. I think your fear of the creationist agenda is overblown, and you should trust that people can decide for themselves. The real enemy of good education is government involvement. The less power they have, the more power the individual has. You cannot empower the individual and the State simultaneously. We've been doing the latter for about 100 yrs.

  • @adaptogen23 *sigh* The real enemy of good education is government involvement.

    *sigh*

  • @TheAsymmetrical YOu're whole argument is outdated. You need to keep up.

  • @adaptogen23 My argument is outdated? You mean like Creationism? Please elaborate.

  • Ron Paul is another corporate shill. Along with all libertarians, like Milton Friedman, Murray Rothbard and Ludwig von Mises, his bullshit rhetoric about freedom of the individual and personal responsibility is a coverup for his real belief in pure, unregulated capitalism. Bill Hicks would have despised the man, Carlin probably did too.

"Freedom in capitalist society remains much the same as it was in ancient Greek republics; fredom for slave owners."

  • @CodenameWraith Ron Paul is certainly NOT a corporate shill. Big business LOVES big government. Its called fascism, and is the opposite of libertarianism. Why would Goldman Sachs put Obama in the Whitehouse and become almost his entire cabinet? The establishment HATES Ron Paul. He is anti-war. pro civil liberties.Do you know anything about monetary policy? If you do, you would see that the Federal Reserve system is "whats keeping us down". Hicks and RP have TONS in common.

  • @adaptogen23 Save the Libertarian rhetoric for another person, it is no doubt that current corporations hate him, but you're looking at this a little short sighted, tell me, in an Anarcho Capitalist or Libertarian society, what happens when Business X becomes so large and bloated through some clever or unethical approach to getting to the top, buys off the media and shits on little kids for a living. you're replacing big government with big business.

  • @TheAsymmetrical Monopolies and Oligopolies exist because of government collusion. EVERY TIME. In a free society, Business X gets large only if they are providing a good or service that people demand, but natural competition would keep any one company from becoming a monopoly. Unethical is illegal. Illegal on a enormous scale only happens when the government allows it. This is what is killing us right now. The media is already bought off, btw. BIG GOVERNMENT = BIG BUSINESS = our current state.

  • @adaptogen23 By the way, what happens to the massive arms industry you guys have? What happens to all those soldiers currently employed? The fabrics industry that produces the uniforms, I've always wondered what happens after that? What happens when the Suuni's and the Shiite's massacre eachother in Iraq.

I'm Anti-War, but from what I've seen, Ron Paul doesn't apply a rational approach to it.

  • @adaptogen23 Ron Paul wants pure, unregulated capitalism with absolutely no restrictions whatsoever. This is in the best interest of corporations, because regulations hinder ultra profit. In order to help corporations achieve even more ultra profit than they already have, he has to pull out the "big government" rhetoric to make it even easier for corporations to do literally whatever they want to make as much money as they possibly can, as dictated by the profit motive.

  • @adaptogen23 Not to mention that Bill was obviously an anti-capitalist, referring to people who do commericals as a "corporate shill, another whore in the capitalist gangbang", and mentioning that every fact about Reagan says he was a liar and a corporate cock-sucking fascist. And, as we know, Reagan was a very strong proponent of the free market (just as Ron Paul is).

  • George Carlin & Ron Paul 2012!

    cafepress()com/ zeptullwear

  • hey, thanks for taking my favorite clips from my idols and uploading a version filmed off of your TV providing the lowest possible quality.......but seriously... great content. good stuff

  • Comment removed

  • Personally I look forward to the day when I can pay $1 Million in taxes! That means my invention is a sucess and I can move on to my next idea.

  • Government need him to achieve their goal

  • Even if Ron Paul got 1 million votes and Obama got 5 Obama would still win because the goevrp

  • @haloroxbigtime two other options. ron paul assasination, or....(the more likely answer)....the shit is gonna hit the fan before next election can take place.

  • Stealing tax payer money to feed the poor is no different from stealing tax payer money to feed the war machine. In both instances, you ignore the individuals right to their personal property (their capital). Ron Paul is not in the same boat with Bill HIcks and George Carlin, Ron Paul doesn't demonize success. What is truly greedy, wanting to keep the money you earn, or wanting to tax away the money other's have earned?

  • George Carlin - Ron Paul 2012!

    cafepress()com/ZepTullWear

  • Support Ron Paul. I'm willing to bet even if he doesn't get the Republican bid, he'll run independent. We can still vote him in.

  • @Disturbedone0777 Ron Paul has already won ...he got the message out !!!! people are awake, a whole new generation of critical thinkers .......... , its about Life ,Love and Liberty he awoke the masses ...he has already won .

  • Nothing but the truth. RP 2012

  • I would gladly vote for Ron Paul instead oof Obama, but sadly it doesn't look like Ron Paul will get the nomination :/

  • Military-Industrial-Complex & Multi-National-Corporations.....

....are the 2 most important words WE NEED to know more about......Bill Hicks and George Carlin are unFuckable

  • Goddamnit this deserves more than 2300 views. Even better: show it in schools!

  • why do i feel carlin was taken out for a political purpose

  • @fortiskKID : Carlin and Paul don't have to be the same to be compared. Both are anti-war, both are very skeptical of what big government brings to the table, both have expressed admiration for Constitutional theory. You're basically saying MLK Jr & Malcolm X can't be compared because they didn't agree on everything. Also, I ask again, what did Carlin say in this video that you disagree with?

  • @HerAmericanLiberty and don't forget...both think for themselves

  • @HerAmericanLiberty What did he say? Two words: PROPERTY RIGHTS.

  • @HerAmericanLiberty Malcolm X was a criminal militant nationalist and MLK Jr. was a pacifist who fought for civil rights... obviously the two can't be compared. I can't believe you just used that example. George Carlin has never once spoken out against big government... in fact he constantly bashes Capitalism.

  • Ron Paul 2012

  • @fortisKID

Carlin wasn't remotely interested in political science or economics. What did he say in this video that you disagree with? Btw he was one of the funniest/most intelligent comedians ever

  • @HerAmericanLiberty he was interested, but he decided it was out of his control because of how most people dont care in our materialistic world. So he has said many times before that he has removed himself from out species, he doesnt care what happens. That is his whole joke about people being blown up and shit, he figures if they dont care about this, then they dont care about life. At least that is what i think. He was smart, that is why he couldnt ever ignore the system that is.

  • @fortisKID have you even listened to George Carlin before?

  • @geerant89 Yes, go listen to what he said about natural rights. Not to mention he is extremely pro-abortion... definitely not someone that you can compare to Ron Paul.

  • @fortisKID He's a socialist because he called BS when he was getting screwed.

  • Bill Hicks is the greatest stand up comedian, philosopher, social and political critic to ever grace our planet!

  • anyone who dissagrees with these guys are only experiancing an illusion of their own limits of comprehension steming from a malfuction of their brain

  • @brydonjesse Amen to that, friend. You said it.

  • @brydonjesse *drives up in a bmw slowly, menacingly* ........ *stops* I DISAGREE!!!! *drives off really fast*

  • @brydonjesse i dont disagree with what they say.. its just that 1 of 3 is not convincing and 2 of 3 didnt work for reagan administration... peace!

  • great mix....mix-master..lol gj:)
