It's a good scene, but i think it's trying so say that Satan is the great deciever and accuser of mankind, and that he is responsible for man's suffering, whereas Jesus is mankind's salvation, and he has conquered Satan already.

Doubtful. This cartoon is based on Mark Twain's novel of the same name, which has quite an opposite ideas about Christianity, just like the author himself.

The behavior and motives of this Satan look alike with the God from Jewish myths, who doesn't hesitate to punish, ridicule and kill humans in any amounts and of any age. Which culminates when he wipes out the whole humanity and even life from the face of the Earth with a flood.
