I don´t mean to be mean but that was awful. You completly misunderstood the meaning of the original shortfilm, since like to you it was only a joke made short film. The girl is not supposed to be a crazy bitch. Why remaking something when the oirginal is already perfect? It will only make your shortfilm look bad in comparison. Try original ideas for a change.

I think person has to be well experienced in order to take such responsibility to remake a movie or a film, a specially one that won academy award for best live-action short. But I must admit that pre-production did took time and work (arranging airport location for shooting for instance).

Bad lighting; recorded sound badly edited and adjusted to image (you can hear protagonist talk loud and other characters quite when they stand at the same spot); in one scene you can see boom stick and sound operators hand at the corner of the frame; time lapse when black male leaves the table to buy a coffee and quickly comes back (or maybe you wanted it to look like that).
It'll take a big mail for me to point out some of the scenes that disturbed me. I'll keep it short. Your audio, those footsteps is not a good idea. You need to learn to use a microphone and learn about audio basics. The shot selections made me wonder; did you prepare a storyboard? If so, you need to learn about shot selections - VERY IMPORTANT. The main critics next to the camera work though, is the storytelling. Maybe its the editing, but the story could be told better. Good luck later on.
Thanks to all that took the time to watch the film...yes if I had a chance to do everything over again and had more than 1 week to prepare actors...location...rewrite script...and convince a crew to support me...yes many things might have been different.
But it is what it is...honestly I am not upset by the negative comments as I expected them and am pleasently surprised and thankful for the positive ones.
I will post more videos when I have time as time is scare at times. Thanks to all.
