I just discovered mr. Fahey today.. as well as this song.. and you play it so clean it sounds excellent! I have been playing for 8 months now and i'm really into the whole finger picking thing.. well done
Great job! That pick up on that Larrivee Baritone sounds really good! Is that a LR Baggs pickup? Are you going direct in with it or playing through an amp? Thanks for sharing! -Derek
Great job Paul! I have your guitar (Larrivee BT-60 with an M1 passive). I replaced the boomy/lo-fi k&k pure western with the M1. It sounds and plays great. Have a good un'....
Thanks polymerchm. The tuning is the baritone equivalent of Open D (actually Open B). Thanks for the Fahey tune recommendation, I'll look into that one.
One of my favorites as well. Nice job. What is your tuning on baritone? I have a Tacoma and haven't tried this one on a baritone as of yet. You should give "Cement Factory and Monolith.." a whirl on your beast.
very nice performance.. and the music is really interesting..

Nice! Relaxing Music, similar to an indian
Raga. You are playing very clean.
Do you play perhaps Drop A - tuning?
I hope you understand my english,
I'm from Italy.

Thanks.
I don't use drop A (if by that you mean drop the 6th string down to an A). I can accomplish that with my 7 string, but usually drop only down to C.

Thanks Derek,
Yes it's a Baggs M1 active and I run it through an Allen%Heath amp to Daedalus speakers. I record what comes out of that.
