So how many watts is this, and I know this is a random note, but will a Deluxe rever have cleans that can compete with a drummer or will it break up too?

I believe it is 20 watts. This amp overdrives easily, even more so than a Deluxe Reverb. I've used a Deluxe Reverb live and it is an amazing amp. It depends on how loud the drummer and the rest of the band is.

Great demo. How would you rate the base response of the AST2? Can you compare it to the SST30? Is the cab closed back or open?

Great demo and playing. Would say the cleans ( pushed with a bit of hair would be fine ) are loud enough to hang with a moderately loud drummer ?

This amp doesn't really need pedals. It's got it all, nice cleans, nice dirt, reverb, and trem.

The Swart website has all of that info. I think the main difference is the the MKII is only offered in a head and it has a master volume as well. Thanks!!
