  • I had my iguana for 16 years, but anyone thinking about buying one of those adorable little baby ones need to remember they're going to grow up into a very big lizard. And they can be expensive to care for, sun lamps, ceramic heating elements, humidifiers. It's also, at least around here, hard to find a vet that treats reptiles. Having said that, I wouldn't have taken anything for mine

  • @FearStriker100 I dont imagine they're all that expensive over there. Mine was 30.00 USD which is quite inexpensive for a reptile. A lot of big name pet stores carry baby ones.

  • how much did urs cost and wer did u get it

    ???

  • you should cut the food up alot more lol

  • How did u get him to eat ?

  • You should've cut his food up better first. Some iguanas have a very hard time eating things if they're not the right size. I had a friend who had one and it ended up getting choked on food because it wasn't chopped up enough.

  • its too small ... btw how long does it take to get like BIGGGGGG ??

  • im ten do u think i could get one ?

  • What usually give you feed your iguana?

  • makes me wanna cry,,mine just ran away ,to make his own life without me

  • @unknown4923 lol

  • do you recommend getting one

  • @wallsk8r If ur willing to take care of it, Absolutely!

  • @Shayn911 well i have a bearded dragon, 3 snakes, and 3 leopard geckos. they can be sort of a handful, but always manageable.

  • @wallsk8r if you do ur research, i mean really do ur research u should be able to tell if you really want one or not. Without proper care they wont last long.

  • DONT YOU NO IF I LET MINES LIE ON MI ARM LIK DAT IT WILL jet!!!!LOL.... BUT KULL

  • i heard iguana are banned from new york is it true and even tho i sneak one in how would be the ticket

  • im pretty sure there not because most pet stores have them and i dont see why they would be banned

  • @Krzyplayer098 yea there banned in ney york but theres places that people will sell you them illegally

  • you should cut there food up more

  • what do iguanas eat on a daily bases?

and can they eat like bugs like meal worms or crickets and mice or pinkies

  • Almost all kind of vegetables and fruits, dandelion etc. No bugs, no mice, no worms!

  • check out my baby iguana feeding video and nope they dont eat bugs or meat

  • r u persian?

  • Yes, I am!

  • LOL that piece was to big for it

  • My iggy is 11 months and she is eating from my hand and is a very calm girl. She can run around a bit when i pick her out of her cage but nothing much.

  • he oviously, watch his head!

  • vary cute but you should cut the lettuce

  • Aww, so cute!

  • sorry and every time after he calm down he go to sleep in my hand

  • hey man my baby igg is same yours

and he try to bites when i pick him what to do help please

  • be persistant and keep holding him everyday he will calm down

  • i have an iguana buut hes super nice but acts super mean when u touch him i spend alot of time with him what should i do

  • show him ur the alpha male, in other words, show him ur the boss by chasing it around or intimidating it

  • U fuckin kidding right? His Iguana will only turn meaner if he does that. Young Iguanas tend to be aggressive, the only way to tame them is to pick them up every day or let them walk around somwhere where they can't run away or hide underneath something!

  • i just a baby iguana and his name is yoshi too

  • i really need help I have a one year old but he bites

  • Make sure u pick him up everyday. Spend a lot of time with him, even if he bites or lashes. Mine used to be exactly the same.

  • Well, most Iguanas have a tendency to bite mistaking you finger as food or prey. Never ever point at the food, eventually this will make your iguana think your finger is for eating or it will become lazy and unaware of its surroundings becoming clueless when it comes to finding food. But if you dont point try wearing gloves for a while and scratch under its chin. Show it you are not a threat nor are you vonerable to its bite.

    Hope that helps

  • show him who is the boss

  • Very cute. haha small dulap too cute. check out my iggy. u should post more vids!

  • Dude you need to trim that into smaller piecs I roll mu lettuce up and cut it with a scissors to make lettuce rolls.

  • Hehe I know man, I just let him play with that leaf there. Now I feed him green collards and cut it in tiny pieces. I don't feed him lettuce anymore, because it lacks in nutrients.

  • You mean his size? 18 inches, I think.

  • How sweet :D

I hardly remember mine when it was THAT young :D

  • Lol, normally I do cut it in little pieces, but thx for the advice. Yeh he's a little cutie. Apart from that, he behaves very funny, checks out all my stuff in my room, and sometimes he looks at me as if I owed him.

  • Can i give you some advice?? If you cut the greens smaller its easier for him to eat and easier for his body to digest so he gets as much out of the greens as possible. He's so cute. My baby is about his size. =)

  • Aw, Iggy is a QT! I bet he'll like a Caesar salad. :)

  • you also can feed : dandelion and blossoms, celeriac, chinese leaves, beans and germ buds, mine loves basilikum, mint, a little bit of shrewd carottes!!! You have a very nice and sweet iguana :)

  • Thank you ;)

  • hahaha sweet!

  • please dont feed your iggy letuce it lacks nutriention feed it greens collards, mustards ect your iggy will grow bigger and live longer

  • Thx for the advice. I got him some of those green collards as u said. But he doesn't seem to like them that much. Not that he doesn't eat them, he just doesn't eat too much of it.

  • Is it eating lettuce?

  • Yep

  • Cute little iggy :)

  • Thank u :)
