after watching the video closely, it looks like the person driving the Mazdaspeed3 was shifting wrong. The speed3's power drops significantly after 5,500RPM and the person driving was revving up to 6K RPM. Still a great vid to show even without AWD (and driven wrong) how well the car does in a 400m dash.

The mps 3 is the quickest car out of that bunch. The mps 3 torque steer issue is only pushed by jelous golf gti owners. It only torque steers if you take your hands off the wheel and dump the clutch.

Except some people (like me) will NEVER buy a FWD car. Test drove a MS3 before I got my (2007) WRX - the MS3 is a nice package, hated the torque steer - simply didn't really enjoy my test drive. To me the WRX was a more solid package and it has a lot more potential. I love it.

This is the Jap WRX which I believe is built so more power is in the upper rpms than the US spec wrx which falls off just like the MS3. US spec for both run out of breath in the upper rpms. They believe american buyers want torque down low and don't want to rev high. Give us a twin scroll 2.5 liter so it can do both!!!
