If this performance is any indication, it looks like Wolfgang is a huge improvement on the bass. The kid sounds great here and plays with punch. Mike was a great personality and a great background singer but his skills on the bass are nothing compared to this kid.
WHY the HELL are the other mics higher in the mix than daves? WTF is that? In all of these clips I have watched Dave is barely audible unless hes just bantering... yet when "she's the woman" is sung I can actually hear vocals but they aren't daves!
@MetalK1LLs Dave is on in-ears, while Wolf and Ed are on floor wedges. So what you are hearing are their wedges with their vocals loudest coming through. Dave has his voice piped in direct to his in-ears. The person recording this is also close to the stage, so they are picking up more stage volume than main PA with a cell phone, which is not the best for recording in the first place.

The ending of the "Tattoo" where Roth must be overdubbing himself on vocals to harmonize, concerns me. The groove Ed, Wolf, n Al are laying down is soulful w/o a doubt. I just don't like that style of vocals coming from Roth because it sounds like one of the UK 80's bands like Madness's "Our House" (in the middle of the street) or Roth's solo ep, just a gig, or smething!

If you listen to dave signing autographs he said and I quote "I don't think were going with Vinyl". Normally it's not his choice, the record company prints it according to projected sales. I wonder if they had a VH crew running the board or if this was the club's sound system? I know this was shot on a camera or something small like that but still the vocals would have been picked up if they were running through the system at a decent level.

I have it too. IIRC, in the old version, the solo was the one that ended up on Mean Street. He also used that solo in a couple other songs, and the music from Mean Street was also originally from a song called Voodoo Queen.

Really like the main riff. Wolf is holdin' it down for sure. Good to see Eddie so healthy. Sounds like classic VH. the vocals, as is usually the case in a small club, need to be turned up. From what I can hear they are great. Always loved Dave's vocals. But Dave... for the love of God... please... not this look. You look like like you just got through painting the inside of a subway. And rockin' the beret is Brian Johnson's thing. Get some tats...lift a weight or 2 and shave the head...

@gixmar It looks like DLR showed up to work on the plumbing. I'm assuming he did a good job on vocals; he always does. I wonder if they had a VH crew running the board or if this was the club's sound system? I know this was shot on a camera or something small like that but still the vocals would have been picked up if they were running through the system at a decent level.

I have it too. IIRC, in the old version, the solo was the one that ended up on Mean Street. He also used that solo in a couple other songs, and the music from Mean Street was also originally from a song called Voodoo Queen.
