I have been toying with the idea of poi for almost a year but only really tried to "get" it for the past week ...so... watching this video is AMAZING to me!!! Shows me the possibilities on the next level! :-D
I figured it out! 3d poi bores the shit out of me. regardless of how good anybody is. There is LOADS of talent in this video from every single spinner. But honestly i don't see why people explore 3d poi so much. I have never seen it look good. I respect each and every spinner in this video but i wish i saw more videos of people exploring one dominate plane (similar to the next level shit found in crylles melting poi video) Bringing all under the legs, around the waste, behind the head, into one.
You dont have to like 3d, but 3d is possibilities. Its the future. Eventually people will master everything they want to master in a single plane, and whats left is the other planes to apply all the other stuff to. Its still a baby, and there isn't much to do yet, but eventually it will grow and there will be more and more stuff you can to in alternate planes. Some of us are getting a head start and exploring.
