  • Counting the number of times the word "the" is used yields more useful information than this entire video.

  • What is this shit? They could be talking about apple pies!

  • agreed this video says a whole lot without saying anything. like john madden, lots of talk but no point.

  • actually vmw will save your butt when your motherboard crashes. your Virtual machines will automatically migrate over when you have a hard drive crash or motherboard failure so you will not have any interruption to those workloads. the technology is called Vmotion, HA, and DRS.

  • Virtualization, a nice concept. But you still need hardware redundancy, because VMware won't save your ass when the motherboard of your server dies.

  • Too many buzz wordssss, awww can't handle it!

  • Cloud, overhyped or underestimated? Not sure.

  • ProxMox kick's ass. I have tested most of VSystems and I have all ready said goodbye to all our VMWare servers. It's Open Source and with it you know what is happening below the hood. And best of all, it's free.

  • I learned nothing except what the current buzz-words are.

  • cloud computing = Hype... hype... hype...

  • it's pretty exciting though isn't it? Gonna save a lot of carbon emmisions.

  • Clouds are made of water vapor, therefore vSphere is vaporware.

  • nothing to understand from the video except to know the VMware Officer names

  • what do they mean, give me concentre facts

  • THIS VIDEO DOESNT SAY ANYTHING.

  • And yet, PHB's probably would be impressed by it... :|

  • LOL. Agreed. I hate "enterprise marketing". Get to the point!

  • I was starting to live up to my screen name watching this, at first.

  • from 0:30 I recognize Enigma's "Seven Lives". Great song.

    Great video!

  • I'm using:

vmware 3.5, san replication and site manager and it kicks butt!

But I'm really wondering how Vm is going to handle MS and Xen coming on strong from behind with about the same features..about.. but really competing on price.

Let the battle begin, we'll all be watching with interest!
