BTW, if you want to see more games like Shenmue made, buy games like Heavy Rain and Alan Wake. Who knows, maybe Shenmue will get another look, if these sorts of games become popular.

Sega Sammy is pulling his strings. The only way (sadly) I think we'll see Shenmue conclude is if both Suzuki-san leaves Sega Sammy AND Sega Sammy sells the license to the publisher he works for next.

@TSMontana You are spot on, and this is what Suzuki actually meant when he said about Sega letting him finish Shennmue. Shenmue was ahead of its time, the irony is, were it released now, it would stand a good chance of success; look at a game like Assassin's Creed, for example. Its subject matter seems very outside the mainstream, yet it has become a huge hit. LA Noire is another example.

Funny thing is I don't believe its on the soundtrack, they missed out on some other great songs as well, but you want this track, ya might be able to find it on shenmue dojo if their still up and running and check the soundtrack section.

It's basically the same controls as RE/Biohazard has. Clunky, but manageable (not as bad as people say). I could care less about the controls since the game is so unique, anyhow.

well considering games are fundamentally all about the players input into a controller to cause on screen reactions, shenmue fails sometimes. i wish they spent more time on it, still love the game though for reasons insanaty mentioned. hate it for the one i did.

Nice song, its really nostalgic. Even though the track feels repetitious like it'll keep going on I don't mind it. Plus it sounds like it belongs in Donkey Kong Country.
