Kind of like Dave Coverdale, If Led Zeppilin reformed, Since Plant can't reach those high notes anymore..David Coverdale could and do those songs justice. Great voice, but I wish he would just quit over singing every song. Journey has definitely moved on without Perry and it will never be the same, unfortunately. Saw Journey tonight in Manchester. Have to admit I was dubious that someone could fill Steve's shoes but Arnel did a pretty darn good job - and he looks good too! Doubt they could have found a better singer - he definitely put his heart and soul into every song. Well impressed!

Each country has a different language for one, they all have different religions, ie Indonesia being mostly Islamic, The Philippines mostly Christian, Korea is half christian/half buddhist, Japan has buddhism, christianity, shintoism, and china has buddhism, taoism, confucianism, etc. Plus historical/present political conflicts.

Give credit where credit is due! This guy can sing. It was Steve's choice to leave Journey and the band must go on! After much searching they found this amazing talent who keeps Journey alive. Both men are very talented and neither can be discounted for keeping this talented group of musicians on their "Journey:!

Kind of like Dave Coverdale, If Led Zeppilin reformed, Since Plant can't reach those high notes anymore..David Coverdale could and do those songs justice. Arnel is young and like you said, Perry was his idol. He gives those songs justice.

Great voice, but I wish he would just quit over singing every song. Journey has definitely moved on without Perry and it will never be the same, unfortunately. Perry made Journey what it is today and though people may say "they moved on, get over it" apparently, I'm not the only one that enjoys the original soul of this band. Good thing YouTube has the OLD Journey videos up to enjoy ;)

Saw Journey tonight in Manchester. Have to admit I was dubious that someone could fill Steve's shoes but Arnel did a pretty darn good job - and he looks good too! Doubt they could have found a better singer - he definitely put his heart and soul into every song. Well impressed!

Last time I checked, Arnel Pineda is Journey's lead vocalist. Therefore, NO ARNEL=NO JOURNEY. There never was a Steve impostor since the band itself CHOSE Arnel to be their lead vocalist. And they couldn't have chosen any better.
