there will always be arguments, and from my own Opinion this is probably my favorite kind of music, it's different. I like all kinds of music, and all kinds of singers.. however I believe I may die without ever hearing a voice as powerful as chris cornells. Maybe its the primal wail you only hear newborns attempt, but it's like he broke it in, and it stayed that way.

CC's voice could sometimes be a little shaky live (smoking, drugs, improper technique, etc), but this rocks even though it is not letter-perfect. Unlike a lot of other vocalists, Chris never held anything back vocally on the recordings, so he has much more of a challenge reproducing these songs onstage. He sounds pretty good at age 46.

so far they are more than passable, but if anyone who is a real fan or not, has seen Soundgarden before they broke up you'd remember how they started with monkey jumping knee swinging guitars, and ridiculous stage behaviour, energy id never seen in people playing instruments at the sametime..then dwindled in enthusiasm and became more miserable looking until 97 and here,.. the sound is there but they just seem burnt out..the most chris does is walk around fast now.. still phenomenal though
