Ahhh. If only someone could help me out with the spoken-word part right after she says "Dr Einstein, I'm going supernova. There's not a single thing that you can do."
I got it up to there and after she says "...Dr. Einstein and Mrs. Einstein into the boat."
YESS !!!!!!!!! je cherchai ca depuis si longtemps !!! merci !!je me rapelle mes 13 ans et je l avais entendu sur RTL en 1979 !! ya surement un super remix a faire !! avec plus des basses et de percus !!
Im absolutely intrigued by this song. Found it via the Telex version. This track was produced in 1979 and they were talking about "do-it-yourself cybernetics", "stored data " and "Stored on the shelves of my memory, My thoughts are in perfect array " way back then??? Amazing. Anyway, i love this song...for some reason i can relate to it somehow...
My time my time i lave my time my time has something more my time's the best there's ever been my time i love my time thank you my time My thoughts are still like a photo In the hall of a Hilton hotel My reflex actions are mechanized Like japanese camera tourists Happily milling in Bloorningdales shooting the beautifil symbols
Hmmm... I usually like Telex (I am Belgian, lol), but in this case, honestly, their cover isn't that interesting to me. The Ann Steel's orchestration is unique !!!
The disc was recently submissive digitally, the album is the unusual in being made with acoustic instruments masked by electronic: means bottom lines are made to prepared piano, the sound of metal percussion is given by chains that touch the strings the plan, there is also the battery; many parts of guitar are engraved at low speeds and sometimes tapes running on the contrary. Produced/ arranged by Roberto Cacciapaglia who plays the piano, the harpsichord filtered, the portativo organ
I think I got about half of what you just wrote. But yeah, a lot of the instruments throughout the album are acoustic, yet made to sound electronic. I think you just backed you up what I always suspected, maybe?
where do you get this record??? does anybody have a d/l link???

Ann Steel did the original. Telex liked it so much they covered it. Personally I prefer Telex' version.
