Wow Sting,what an Entertainer,I saw him at Ellis Park,Johannesburg,South Africa in 1994,it was actually one of Radio5 birthday concerts,when he sang one of my fav. songs of his "IF I EVER LOSE MY FAITH IN YOU",bloody brilliant!!!!!

WHEN I WAS IN A BAND AS A KID I USED TO PSYCH MYSELF UP FOR GIGS WITH A VID OF THE SYNCHRONICTY TOUR KING OF PAIN TRACK. ITS THE ONE WHERE STU IS ON THE MARIMBA/CHIMES/BIG CHINA SYMBOL, HE THEN RUNS TO HIS KIT & STARTS CALMLY PUTTING FINGER GRIPS ON & YOU THINK "SHIT HE'S GONNA MISS THIS CRUCIAL STARTING FLAM" WHERE UPON HE THROWS HIS STICKS IN THE AIR, CATCHES AND LANDS THEM DOWN BANG ON THE MILLISECOND: PERFECT! SUCH A FEAT TOTALY AMAZING AS A DRUMMER, CAN ANYONE POINT ME TO THAT VERSION,PLZ?

I saw this tour in Seattle--we almost got trampled in front of the stage before it started. We escaped and ended up sittling right behind the stage--much better views! 1983...I was 21. Great memories!  Love this band and loved their reunion!
