I'd heard of a 'Mariah Carey' and how everyone raged about her but this movie was the first time I actually cared to listen to and watch her in it. It's been years since I've seen this movie. I only remembered how much I loved the movie and how FREAKINbeautiful her voice was and her 'mom' from the movie. But I have to say, I didn't really like her acting then and now watching this I'm correct I don't.

I was personally touched by this movie the death of billy's boyfriend really showed how tragically painful it can be to loose someone whom you've loved, billy's song interpretation in the last scene, made me cry and I know whoever has faced the lost of someone special feels the same.
