Make a CMF movie about this "thespreadoftruth" dude and how he makes this his life, and his quest for JUSTICE takes him down paths no man should venture.Where his wife leaves him and takes the baby. But he must stay the course. Not give up on his beliefs, no matter how many hate him for it. Because he's not the hero Gotham needs, but the one it deserves...and so we'll hunt him...because he can take it...because he's not a hero...he's a silent guardian, a watchful protector...a Dark Knight
@TeamSausageNipples I know he didn't hire professionals. But the people in question are not currently affiliated with Bridgewater State which is where this film breaks the rules and the point I have made several times. Whether they are students or not is not the question but whether they are affiliated with Bridgewater State where the event was held and conducted for.
By responding "Exactly," I'm not sure if you understood this..
I can understand why at this point you and your friends no longer wish to discuss the methods of your multi-pronged protest and its resemblance to cyber bullying. However, in the effort of "the spread of truth" I refer to excerpts taken from movie sites at Fordham, RIT, Salem State, and FDU.
@bostonredsoxwin1 The comment starting with "Exactly" was a response to your quote of "thespreadoftruth make sure cmf..." post. I was explaining my reason for that post. Regarding your remark about "cyber bulling", I am simply defending myself when people attack me and say baseless remarks that I am "jealous" and a "sore loser" and conducting a "witch hunt". It seems like people are bullying me for stating facts about the people involved in this film that broke the rules.
"thespreadoftruth2 Make sure CMF doesnt break the rules at your school too. Check out my channel for more information on the Finale at Bridgewater State College. One of the films broke the rules and still won even though CMF was made aware of the unfair play before the finale. You deserve to be fairly treated. "
@bostonredsoxwin1 Exactly. The people who created films and were not shown at the finale should know about this dispute and that was the only way I knew to possibly get in contact with those people. They should hear the evidence that I have presented which proves my argument and create their own judgements regarding the situation because it effects them. If this film was excluded from the competition, one would have been that followed the rules set forth by CMF.
I can understand why at this point you and your friends no longer wish to discuss the methods of your multi-pronged protest and its resemblance to cyber bullying. However, in the effort of "the spread of truth" I refer to excerpts taken from movie sites at Fordham, RIT, Salem State, and FDU.
@bostonredsoxwin1 I have yet to criticize the work achieved by this group of people. I am criticizing the validity of whether it should be included in this student film festival.
@ronpaulsupporter1 Help me understand (and I think others) what exactly the problem is. I don't think I have seen or heard it stated anywhere. All I have read is that someone helped this movie who shouldn't have. Regardless, I do agree if rules were broken, it should be disqualified. I still stick to my guns however that the movie (regardless of graphics) was more suited to my taste than the other films shown simply based on narrative.
@MrILoveRevengeI thank you for your support on the validity of presenting this issue. However I do wish to comment on whether the film would have won if the people in question were excluded from the film. Keep in mind none of these people that I am about to discuss are currently affiliated with BSC. The rules state that only people who are allowed to film and edit your film are your teammates and that these teammates must be currently affiliated with BSC.
@MrILoveRevenge. Felipe Machado worked as the Director of Photography. By definition he is responsible for the technical and artistic appearance of the images we see. Jack Hamilton completed the Visual Effects and Graphics, which are seen in the film. By definition he is credited with the imagery that has been created in the postproduction editing process. These include modifications and additions onto the film that have originally been filmed.
@thespreadoftruth2Tim Haber was the sound editor on the film who by definition is responsible for the selecting and assembling of sound recordings into the film during the editing process. He is credited for everything we hear during the film and how we hear it. Greg Nazarian helped as assistant camera as well as an assistant for visual effects. He is also credited for the visual effects added in the editing process and for the filming of the original material before the editing process.
@thespreadoftruth2. All the people I have listed with the exception of Greg are also credited as editors of the film. These are major technical aspects of the film from everything we see to everything we hear. While I do not deny that these people are very talented individuals, they are not currently affiliated with BSC and should not have been part of the filming and editing processes associated with making this film.
I would totally sympathize with you if the people outside the university were competent. However, the sound engineering was not well done. I think you should only be mad if it would hypothetically be difficult to find people of equal talent within the university. But here any old college student could've done the sound better.
Going with the philosophy that we should only disqualify films with an unfair advantage (rather than policing strict rules), I would let this slide.
@MrILoveRevenge The problem is simple. the rules state that members of a team that do any type of editing, camera work, must be a student at that school. Several people listed in the credits as having done so, are not.
The problem is compounded by the fact that a bully can hide behind an electronic veil, disguising his or her true identity. This makes it difficult to trace the source, and encourages bullies to behave more aggressively than they might face-to-face.
@bostonredsoxwin1 You say that I have stated my point so that I should just stop but people keep using poor words of choice calling this a "witch hunt" and that I am "jealous". I only continue because people say such things and I need to defend myself because neither are true. This is a debate about the legitimacy of the film not "cyber bullying" and trying to use that terminology against me is just another reason in which I have to voice myself.
The definition of cyber bullying is "the use of e-mail, instant messaging, chat rooms, pagers, cell phones, or other forms of information technology to deliberately harass, threaten, or intimidate someone. Cyberbullying is often done by children, who have increasing access to these technologies. However, it is by no means confined to children.
@bostonredsoxwin1 I dont think anyone has ever threated, intimated or harassed some one here. Plus its a forum you cna always just leave. These comments havent been sent to anyone's e-mail, cell phone, ect. This does not constitute as bullying. ...This is trolling
I dont think there is a law about repeatedly saying "this team broke a rule", If it turns out they didnt break any rules then this will all be for not. Until CMF announces something either way iam under the assumption they didnt cheat and won fair and square. Innocent til proven guilty, but these guys have a right to think what they want and voice what they want. In the fact CMF is investigating gives them a hint of legitimacy
@ronpaulsupporter1 Actually thats not a violation. CMF use to be flexible about the length of films. Even if a film goes over 5 minutes your still aloud to submit.
@ronpaulsupporter1 Yeah they were flexible with that rule in previouse years...meaning last years time limit overage has NO bearing on the rules of this year. I fail to see what last year had to do with this year.
Cyber bullying is a serious concern this day in age. A repeated and relentless attack on someone would constitute the title. No matter what facts you have you have you have obviously had the forum to state your point, and did so. However the repeated comments and slander constitute what i would consider cyber bullying!
After reading what the controversy is I have to say the people who are complaining have a valid point. That being said I would understand a disqualification. However, I do find it unfortunate because even without the help of the person/people in question this movie would have still been heads and tails over its competition. The idea and execution was just better done and I don't think the assistant camera person really made the difference between a win or loss. Shame.
As you stated before you want this to go through a fair and judicial process. If I were not wrong you are practicing in what people call "Cyber bullying"
@bostonredsoxwin1 come on now this isnt Cyber Bullying they are voicing a concern a real concern that CMF is even taking under investigation. They arent threatening anyone they arent name calling.
@bostonredsoxwin1 I am voicing a concern that deserves to be voiced. There are many people who created and didn't create films who also have the same concern as I do. Some of these people think they can't get action to occur. I can not stand by and watch that come true. Other people worked hard on their films and it is just not fair that they didn't win or didn't get shown in the top 16 because someone took their place who broke the rules.
@bostonredsoxwin1 Like I have already said my name is not important with the issue and trying to make that an important piece of this debate is sidestepping the real issue.
Ok. but why hide behind screennames. tell everyone who you are and what films you made! its only fair with the amount of interest and criticism you have given this film.
@bostonredsoxwin1 Please explain how my name is important in the validity of this film being in the competition? I do not have to provide my name and nor is it important to the matter. I know the reasons I am pushing this issue. Do you know the reasons your denying it? I have presented valid evidence of why this film breaks the rules and yet no one has argued against my point yet with any factual information.
Ronpaul i doubt thats your real name!? why don't you tell everyone? and what movie did you make? Its funny how much time and effort you spend in discrediting this movie.
@bostonredsoxwin1 To correct you, it seems his youtube username is "ronpaulsupporter1" meaning he or she supports the political figure who's name is Ron Paul which is quite obviously not his real name.
To those against this film, I feel your jealousy shouldn't be what drives you to be disrespectful enough to actively seek a campaign to destroy these obviously talented people. You're trying to put a damper on their much deserved win. Losing this film festival really tests one's character, because everyone tried really hard. If you were a good person, you'd try harder next time and let it go.
@HeyKelsey123 I want to try to stay on the fence here, but if they did break the rules i dont think the win would be deserved. Also i dont think people are campaigning because they are jealous they lost, i think that the people have a valid point. If they did in fact break the rules why should those that followed the rules be left out of the top 16 or a potiental Best Picture win?
@TheJuggerobb This is precisely the simple point that I am trying to make. This really is such a good film but it needs to follow the rules like everyone else or it just ruins the very spirit of the student festival.
@HeyKelsey123 It has nothing to do with jealousy. It has to do with all the people who deserved more credit for what they did which is all the films submitted besides this one. Everyone else followed the rules, this one did not. Avoiding putting a "damper" on the film was attempted when multiple people brought this issue to the attention of the judges and CMF before the finale even occurred. Your statement provides no argument for how this film did not break the rules.
A hard working team makes another amazing video and it's too bad that people are chastising it. I saw some other really awesome films last night that were also hard to believe they were filmed in 1 week- but they were. G3's leader is an incredibly hard working individual who has a VERY strong and talented group of friends that stands behind him and does whatever he needs them to do. This does NOT warrant a witch hunt but an applause for "non-professionals" working so professionally together.
@collegethespian Editing and Filming done for CMF films can only be by those who are affiliated with the school as listed quite specifically in the rules. People who are not affiliated with this school are listed as editing and filming the movie. There are no clarifications that can be made about the terms "editing" and "filming" that exclude those who have done such work on this film. Therefore this film was submitted in an unprofessional manner and does not deserve to be shown.
@collegethespian A hard working team is just fine, as long as that team goes by the rules. Those "very strong and talented" friends you mention are not Bridgewater students. By the way, I'd like to know why you spell out VERY in big print? Trying to "intimidate" someone?
This "investigation" will go on, and the movie will be disqualified as it should have been a few days ago.
That being said, this movie is a result of hard work and preparation. I will wait for the result of the investigation along with everyone else. I enjoyed everyones work last night, and hope that everyone gets a chance to experience some of the great things filmmaking has done for me. Thank you and best.
@AP441 Why wait for an "investigation"? The evidence is there in big print for all to see. Why not stand up and admit that you made a "mistake" in allowing others who are not students to edit, do sound work, camera work, and vision effects?
My name is Alex Perry and I am the creator, writer, director and editor of this movie. The previous comment on this page is a completely understandable criticism, as CMF is in fact investigating this situation enormously, which gives everyone the right to be suspicious.
@AP441 By saying that you are "the creator, writer, director and editor of this movie" you are implying that you are the sole one yet your credits say otherwise. While you may have produced a film that took hard work and preparation so did others and they deserve the experiences that CMF can provide more so than yourself. Your credits also give credit to someone who worked "Assistant Camera" who doesn't go to the school. This also breaks rules besides the editing aspects of the film in question.
Such an awesome movie..can only imagine how much sleep you didn't get making this haha. People here who are accusing you guys of cheating don't understand that anyone can make a movie like this...you just have to be talented to do it.
@MrJBusiness The accusations are fact, not a work of fiction. The facts have been clearly stated in posts made by myself and no one who supports this film has presented evidence of how people who are credited in the film for editing were not involved in the editing which is the violation of CMF rules. There is no denying that this is a great film and the people who created it are talented. But the main people who helped are not currently affiliated with Bridgewater.
Ronpaul, drop it! You are making yourself look like a pathetic sore loser. Maybe you should devote this much time to your scrips and directing instead of bashing others. If you have a problem with the integrity of CMF don't participate.
I participated and followed the rules and i find that its unfair to all the teams that worked hard and followed the rules and may have not even been shown at the festival while others got to throw the rules out the window and they are able to move on to the regional. And honestly Ronpaul has a right to complain ESPECIALLY if he had submitted to the festival. It doesn't make hims seem like a sore loser, CMF even stated that they were looking into the matter and that makes that warrant this topic
@Kadyxkush oh wow a poster. was that poster one from harry potter where it shows a video clip? cause its shoot and edit in one week. no where does it state you cannot come up with the idea or promote it before hand.
This film was funny and maybe the most professional looking, but it certainly was not the funniest or most engaging....Tassles and Hassels,That Good Night, Doll, Dial M for Mime, were all either funnier or better story. BSC handed them the win because of the previous years success and based on the comments below...it seems unwarranted.
@ronpaulsupporter1 Before i go any further into this i kinda want to know where this information is coming from and if its credible. If it turns out that the movie did break a rule and it was brought to someones attention its a shame they decided to go for 'convenience and what was easy' other than working hard to make the best of the situation and give the award to some one who deserved it and followed the rules.
@TheJuggerobb One only needs to read the credits in the movie, and read the official rules of the CMF, then you may come to your own conclusion. It is fact that some of those mentioned in the credits that helped with editing, sound ,and visual effects are not students of Bridgewater State.
Seriously who gives a crap... This movie was awesome and it's about being the best. This was the best. To all you crying LOSERS get used to it. If there was one more year they would win again
@cwinner89 of course it was the best film at the finale but whether it is the best or not is not the issue. its the rules that should have been followed fairly. other students who submitted films and followed the rules reserved to be shown last night in its place for following those rules...if anyone can be the best by skipping the rule book then why have the rules to begin with...and if cmf doesn't follow the own rules they put into place what kind of example does this send to other teams?
"The only people who can film and edit footage for your team are your teammates. These individuals must be signed up online by the movie deadline to be eligible for prizes. Teammates must be current students, faculty, or staff of your university. Other students, faculty, and staff from your school and other individuals not affiliated with your university are welcome to appear in your movie."
"Team Members: You are welcome to have team members from outside your campus, but only team members that are currently affiliated with the campus in which you are submitting your movie are permitted to direct, shoot or edit your movie."
Look at the credits at the end of this entry and tell me there is no violation.
Is this college promoting professionalism and honesty?
Or will they promote lying and cheating?
This movie should have been disqualfied yesterday when it was brought to the attention to the staff and students who voted on this that the people who helped with editing, sound, visual effects and graphics were NOT STUDENTS of Bridgewater College.
Oh please, an error in the credits could definitely be a "mistake" and the changes you describe sound like an appropriate correction was made. Another flakey conspiracy theory from a "Ron Paul supporter". Congrats to the team that made this movie, a really great piece of work.
@rightbackatya1 Jack Hamilton made modifications to the footage of this film with use of visual effects and graphics which he is credited for in the showing at the finale. He was a part of the editing process of this film and is not affiliated with BSC. Please explain to me how this does not break the rules because this is clearly listed on the CMF website and as you can see below I have quoted the rule.
@rightbackatya1 So your a friend of the "movie maker"? I understand you wanting to help your friend during this "trying time", but let it be understood..........this will not go away. People who were not students at Bridgewater helped to make this movie acting as editor, sound, etc. in DIRECT VIOLATION of CMF rules.
The so-called panel who voted knew this, and let him get away with it.
What kind of school would let this kind of thing happen?
Great movie! It is a great follow-up to Scrabble! I see some comments about cheating, I don't see how. teams are allowed to use people from outside the university. Only the team leader, director, editor, and camera operator need to be from the university. Any other team members can be from outside the university. Either way, great job with this movie!
@ZanderWesli Simple dude cmf rules state- "The only people who can film and edit footage for your team are your teammates. These individuals must be signed up online. Teammates must be current students, faculty, or staff of your university.
- Other students, faculty, and staff from your school and other individuals not affiliated with your university are welcome to appear in your movie."
@TheSpreadofTruth the credits clearly indicate felipe machado, tim haber and jack hamilton as editors as well as tim haber as a sound editor, jack hamilton for visual effects and graphics and felipe machado as director of photography. none of these people currently attend bridgewater state college as students, faculty or staff
YOU HAVE NO PROOF OF ANYTHING SO ACCUSING PEOPLE OF CHEATING LIKE THAT IS RUDE AND SIMPLY WRONG. How dare you discredit those who work hard and earn winning. is it jealousy or just immaturity. in short....die in a fire :)
Yeah, so I heard you guys cheated too. Why? You're talented as hell and didn't need to. If you really did use people you weren't supposed to then you deserve to get disqualified. I saw Scrabble and was there when you guys won in NY. It was an amazing film.
In conclusion, you guys are the Hulk Hogan of CMF: Once cool, then turned into a fraud who hocks rental TV's because he had a taste of the good life and blew it all on shirts with the sleeves cut off and boob jobs for your steak hooker wife.

I still stick to my guns however that the movie (regardless of graphics) was more suited to my taste than the other films shown simply based on narrative.
MrILoveRevenge 1 year ago
@MrILoveRevengeI thank you for your support on the validity of presenting this issue. However I do wish to comment on whether the film would have won if the people in question were excluded from the film. Keep in mind none of these people that I am about to discuss are currently affiliated with BSC. The rules state that only people who are allowed to film and edit your film are your teammates and that these teammates must be currently affiliated with BSC.
thespreadoftruth2 1 year ago
@MrILoveRevenge. Felipe Machado worked as the Director of Photography. By definition he is responsible for the technical and artistic appearance of the images we see. Jack Hamilton completed the Visual Effects and Graphics, which are seen in the film. By definition he is credited with the imagery that has been created in the postproduction editing process. These include modifications and additions onto the film that have originally been filmed.
thespreadoftruth2 1 year ago
@thespreadoftruth2Tim Haber was the sound editor on the film who by definition is responsible for the selecting and assembling of sound recordings into the film during the editing process. He is credited for everything we hear during the film and how we hear it. Greg Nazarian helped as assistant camera as well as an assistant for visual effects. He is also credited for the visual effects added in the editing process and for the filming of the original material before the editing process.
thespreadoftruth2 1 year ago
@thespreadoftruth2. All the people I have listed with the exception of Greg are also credited as editors of the film. These are major technical aspects of the film from everything we see to everything we hear. While I do not deny that these people are very talented individuals, they are not currently affiliated with BSC and should not have been part of the filming and editing processes associated with making this film.
thespreadoftruth2 1 year ago
@thespreadoftruth2
I would totally sympathize with you if the people outside the university were competent. However, the sound engineering was not well done. I think you should only be mad if it would hypothetically be difficult to find people of equal talent within the university. But here any old college student could've done the sound better.
Going with the philosophy that we should only disqualify films with an unfair advantage (rather than policing strict rules), I would let this slide.
theguyi26 1 year ago
@MrILoveRevenge The problem is simple. the rules state that members of a team that do any type of editing, camera work, must be a student at that school. Several people listed in the credits as having done so, are not.

@bostonredsoxwin1 I did....and this isnt cyber bullying. But im done on that topic its neither here nor there.
TheJuggerobb 1 year ago
The problem is compounded by the fact that a bully can hide behind an electronic veil, disguising his or her true identity. This makes it difficult to trace the source, and encourages bullies to behave more aggressively than they might face-to-face.
bostonredsoxwin1 1 year ago
@bostonredsoxwin1 You say that I have stated my point so that I should just stop but people keep using poor words of choice calling this a "witch hunt" and that I am "jealous". I only continue because people say such things and I need to defend myself because neither are true. This is a debate about the legitimacy of the film not "cyber bullying" and trying to use that terminology against me is just another reason in which I have to voice myself.
thespreadoftruth2 1 year ago
The definition of cyber bullying is "the use of e-mail, instant messaging, chat rooms, pagers, cell phones, or other forms of information technology to deliberately harass, threaten, or intimidate someone. Cyberbullying is often done by children, who have increasing access to these technologies. However, it is by no means confined to children.
bostonredsoxwin1 1 year ago
@bostonredsoxwin1 I dont think anyone has ever threated, intimated or harassed some one here. Plus its a forum you cna always just leave. These comments havent been sent to anyone's e-mail, cell phone, ect. This does not constitute as bullying. ...This is trolling
TheJuggerobb 1 year ago

TheJuggerobb 1 year ago

Shame.
MrILoveRevenge 1 year ago
@MrILoveRevenge You are wrong. If this movie did not have the tech support from outsiders, it would not have turned out as good.

I don't think the quality of the film can be judged either way if different people were taken out.

bostonredsoxwin1 1 year ago
@bostonredsoxwin1 come on now this isnt Cyber Bullying they are voicing a concern a real concern that CMF is even taking under investigation. They arent threatening anyone they arent name calling.
TheJuggerobb 1 year ago
@bostonredsoxwin1 I am voicing a concern that deserves to be voiced. There are many people who created and didn't create films who also have the same concern as I do. Some of these people think they can't get action to occur. I can not stand by and watch that come true. Other people worked hard on their films and it is just not fair that they didn't win or didn't get shown in the top 16 because someone took their place who broke the rules.

This was an amazing movie.
HeyKelsey123 1 year ago
@HeyKelsey123 I want to try to stay on the fence here, but if they did break the rules i dont think the win would be deserved. Also i dont think people are campaigning because they are jealous they lost, i think that the people have a valid point. If they did in fact break the rules why should those that followed the rules be left out of the top 16 or a potiental Best Picture win?
TheJuggerobb 1 year ago
@TheJuggerobb This is precisely the simple point that I am trying to make. This really is such a good film but it needs to follow the rules like everyone else or it just ruins the very spirit of the student festival.
thespreadoftruth2 1 year ago
@HeyKelsey123 It has nothing to do with jealousy. It has to do with all the people who deserved more credit for what they did which is all the films submitted besides this one. Everyone else followed the rules, this one did not. Avoiding putting a "damper" on the film was attempted when multiple people brought this issue to the attention of the judges and CMF before the finale even occurred. Your statement provides no argument for how this film did not break the rules.
thespreadoftruth2 1 year ago
@HeyKelsey123 DISRESPECTFUL??? I'll tell you what is disrespectful since you do not know the difference.
Being disrespectful is when all other hard working students follow the rules, and one group does not.
Being dishonest is not respectful to the other students, the college, the CMF, and to themselves.
ronpaulsupporter1 1 year ago
A hard working team makes another amazing video and it's too bad that people are chastising it. I saw some other really awesome films last night that were also hard to believe they were filmed in 1 week- but they were. G3's leader is an incredibly hard working individual who has a VERY strong and talented group of friends that stands behind him and does whatever he needs them to do. This does NOT warrant a witch hunt but an applause for "non-professionals" working so professionally together.
collegethespian 1 year ago 4
@collegethespian Editing and Filming done for CMF films can only be by those who are affiliated with the school as listed quite specifically in the rules. People who are not affiliated with this school are listed as editing and filming the movie. There are no clarifications that can be made about the terms "editing" and "filming" that exclude those who have done such work on this film. Therefore this film was submitted in an unprofessional manner and does not deserve to be shown.
thespreadoftruth2 1 year ago
@collegethespian A hard working team is just fine, as long as that team goes by the rules. Those "very strong and talented" friends you mention are not Bridgewater students. By the way, I'd like to know why you spell out VERY in big print? Trying to "intimidate" someone?
This "investigation" will go on, and the movie will be disqualified as it should have been a few days ago.
ronpaulsupporter1 1 year ago
That being said, this movie is a result of hard work and preparation. I will wait for the result of the investigation along with everyone else. I enjoyed everyones work last night, and hope that everyone gets a chance to experience some of the great things filmmaking has done for me. Thank you and best.
AP441 1 year ago
@AP441 Why wait for an "investigation"? The evidence is there in big print for all to see. Why not stand up and admit that you made a "mistake" in allowing others who are not students to edit, do sound work, camera work, and vision effects?
YOU HAVE ALREADY SAID SO IN THE CREDITS.
ronpaulsupporter1 1 year ago
@ronpaulsupporter1 wow... way to chastise an entire Campus. lol get a life man. dont you have anything better to do?
AFchris77 1 year ago
My name is Alex Perry and I am the creator, writer, director and editor of this movie. The previous comment on this page is a completely understandable criticism, as CMF is in fact investigating this situation enormously, which gives everyone the right to be suspicious.
AP441 1 year ago
@AP441 By saying that you are "the creator, writer, director and editor of this movie" you are implying that you are the sole one yet your credits say otherwise. While you may have produced a film that took hard work and preparation so did others and they deserve the experiences that CMF can provide more so than yourself. Your credits also give credit to someone who worked "Assistant Camera" who doesn't go to the school. This also breaks rules besides the editing aspects of the film in question.
thespreadoftruth2 1 year ago
Such an awesome movie..can only imagine how much sleep you didn't get making this haha. People here who are accusing you guys of cheating don't understand that anyone can make a movie like this...you just have to be talented to do it.
MrJBusiness 1 year ago
@MrJBusiness The accusations are fact, not a work of fiction. The facts have been clearly stated in posts made by myself and no one who supports this film has presented evidence of how people who are credited in the film for editing were not involved in the editing which is the violation of CMF rules. There is no denying that this is a great film and the people who created it are talented. But the main people who helped are not currently affiliated with Bridgewater.
thespreadoftruth2 1 year ago
Ronpaul, drop it! You are making yourself look like a pathetic sore loser. Maybe you should devote this much time to your scrips and directing instead of bashing others. If you have a problem with the integrity of CMF don't participate.
bostonredsoxwin1 1 year ago
I participated and followed the rules and i find that its unfair to all the teams that worked hard and followed the rules and may have not even been shown at the festival while others got to throw the rules out the window and they are able to move on to the regional. And honestly Ronpaul has a right to complain ESPECIALLY if he had submitted to the festival. It doesn't make hims seem like a sore loser, CMF even stated that they were looking into the matter and that makes that warrant this topic

This film was funny and maybe the most professional looking, but it certainly was not the funniest or most engaging....Tassles and Hassels,That Good Night, Doll, Dial M for Mime, were all either funnier or better story.
TheJuggerobb 1 year ago
@TheJuggerobb One only needs to read the credits in the movie, and read the official rules of the CMF, then you may come to your own conclusion. It is fact that some of those mentioned in the credits that helped with editing, sound ,and visual effects are not students of Bridgewater State.

cwinner89 1 year ago
@cwinner89 of course it was the best film at the finale but whether it is the best or not is not the issue. its the rules that should have been followed fairly. other students who submitted films and followed the rules reserved to be shown last night in its place for following those rules...if anyone can be the best by skipping the rule book then why have the rules to begin with...and if cmf doesn't follow the own rules they put into place what kind of example does this send to other teams?
