I had no idea, while on the cruise, that BNL was contemplating separating. Other people have said they picked up on awkward vibes, but I must have been oblivious to it. It came as a shock to me when the official announcement was made.
This was such a touching moment and I'm so glad that I was there for it and that so many of us captured it from different angles. I was also fortunate enough to be able to thank Ed personally for this dedication to a wonderful man and friend to so many of us.
Skates is the nick-name of a fan who perished in a fire at work this past December. He would have been on the cruise and many, many of us knew him and loved him very much.

What an ending to 20 years of Steven and BNL. I'm deeply saddened that it has ended, but let's hope that if either falls the other will pick them up.
