Hard to believe this show was in the 60s. My sister Dani and Midge loved this music a lot. Wished she had seen it on the internet she would have been so happy to see it again. I wish I could see the entire show - Great
Music -never grows old.. Love Ricky singing "Yesterday Heroes"

So many things to love! The plexiglas instruments. The plastic clothes. The choreography that looks like they're beating each other up. Ricky's enormous apartment. Rick and Joanie's vocal here are stellar!
Thank you so much for doing this. I do a web radio show, and have been playing this album in its entirety for the past ten years (and I also have had a truly terrible, millionth-generation VHS copy of the actual show). It's so great to finally find other fans- This is the first time I've ever seen any actual footage of it on YouTube, and such great quality.
I remember it live, too and have wanted to see it again. I just discovered this and loved it. I want to see the whole show also and can hardly wait. Time goes by but memories live on! WOW! He was really great in this. It seems like this should have made a great comeback from this, but we can't change history, just enjoy some videos of the glory days. .
This is indeed a very interesting special, especially for its timing. Rick Nelson was an outstanding choice for this special, since his early pop music career had long peaked by December 1966. Ironically, the same might be said for Joanie Sommers.
That said, these two are hardly "washed up." Perhaps they should have had more Bacharach-David tunes to work with, because they do well with them! Joanie Sommers, especially, sounds so much better than she did with "Johnny Get Angry." I love it!
Your effort to incorporate stereo versions in this program ruins it completely. Leave the damm clip alone and STOP trying to improve it.

Add me to the plea for the whole thing also. I saw the original first-run, and treasure my copy of the soundtrack LP.
