  • My main turn-off when it comes to campy is the Sora-like thumb shifters, I just don't like them

  • Every day's an orgasmic scene of gorgeousness and endless comfort filled miles, and I'm fighting off the New Acquisitions agents from the world's leading art galleries both with AKays and rpg's, who wish to steal mah campisconolo chorus bike., for their leading exhibit.....Be it, don't dream it..or nightmare it with sram or shim instead.

  • hahaha! so many shimano & sram lovers here! get out of here if you don't want to hear & see the latest technology.. haha!

  • Geez I guess stopglobalswarming has something to say.

  • I've got friction shifters that will sweep 4 chainrings and 13 cogs at a time, but I can't find a 4 ring chainwheel. I suppose I will have to make one on my artisan work bench when I have some more grease under my fingernails. ;-)

  • ROLLING ON THE FLOOR LAUGHING SO HARD I HAVE TEARS IN MY EYES..... He said the shifters are A-SYM-METRICAL like they are fucking magic weapons. haha. I think in 2 years these Assymetrical bikes will be so assymetrical they will look like different bikes coming and going, with assymetrical kits to match and the riders will look like a damn neopolitan ice cream sandwich. hahhaHAHahHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAAHaHa

  • Do you get a gold watch and an engraved invitation when you buy a Campy 11 group?

  • its crazy to think campag are still using bushes in this day and age with all that carbon n everything else, how much do 2 stainless steel bearings cost? peanuts thats what..

  • i like all these little percentages hes throwing out there. "your fingers are 4% closer" lolz..... so less than a millimeter? not talking shit on this guy, just thought it was funny

  • 'sex appeal'.... oh dear

  • Campy components are GREAT and the 11 speed helps you find that sweet spot cadence during your rides.

  • Campy components are GREAT and the 11 speed helps you find that swee-tspot cadence during your rides.

  • 5 cogs at a time... and here I was thinking 3 was a lot.

  • hey people.personal opinion aside, how about a pat on the back for andy who does the best bike gear reviews on the inet

  • I gone to druidia....I'm extremely in LUST!!!

  • Yeah, I guess he did. He Also said" Jeer-Oh"

    Oh my.

  • Did he say "camp-AGG--nolo"?

  • hahahah so "Super" has vents and a touch of carbon? what a joke. I can just imagine the lawyers and corporates who buy the "super" stuff just because they get paid too much. no other reason really

  • @dnm25 did you not listen to the differences at all? Bearing vs. Bushings, anodized coating, titanium, and more.

  • @Crich775 ya but how much of that translates into better performance? a insignificant reduction in torque to change gears? minus a bit of weight? cmon look at how much more they cost as you go up each group!

  • @dnm25 I know, but you wouldn't want to put some kind of japanese piece of shit on the back of your ferarri now would you? (joke hahahha) The campy stuff looks good, but I think its more about fashion than anything. $300 chain tool. hahahhahahahhahahahha

  • LOL, Campy follows Shimanos basic lever shape and the Camptites manage to claim they are completely different. LOL Nice $200 chaintool for the new chain too, only Campy could make changin a chain that complicated. LOL

  • Very smooth shifting

  • @chowychow

    Swap the chainrings you heathen!

  • Campagnolo is the best by far....I've used their components since the days that you made (and repaired) your own racing bikes and Shimano and the others just doesn't cut the mustard. I am glad to see that they are still innovating and producing more beautiful products that are also practical and ergonomic and functional...and far better than the rest

  • Shimano's components are boring...They took forever for the hidden shifter cables and their shifters are a bit bulkier.

  • @dahgutone I like them. Hidden shifter cables are irritating when you have to peel your tape just to change a cable, and they don't work with keirin grips. The fat shifters feel like fighter pilot controls.

  • buying chorus now...

  • I'm an environmental engineer, so I can appreciate good design and attention to detail. But watching this vid reminds me of my mechanical engineer buddies who sweat every single last boson of mass, every nm/nm of strain, and every aesthetic curve in their machined parts. At some point, it becomes less about the bike/nozzle/whathaveyou, and more about adherence to the engineering process. I commend the Campy engineers for daring to dream, but I'm gonna go ride my bike now and just have fun.

  • @greenpeacedoug SOOOO true. mechanical engineering student speaking.

  • I have always had Campagnolo, because they are serviceable, sexier looking, and "Made In Italy" by craftsmen.

Japanese stuff is just so boring, ugly, and disposable!

I built my dream bike last year, and finally upgraded to 2008 Record, with "race-feel" levers.

I wanted new 11-speed,but it was not ready,in time!

If i buy another bike,it will have the electronic system, which is not ready yet!

    Shimano's new electronic system is crap,and ugly(what a surprise-not).

    I'm not rich,but can afford!!

  • And you are an idiot..

  • no dream can be true...to expensive...

  • ahh i can't afford it lmaoo

  • AWESOME. Great job man.
