It kills me to see people overstimulate a baby, or try to force them into eating, it causes trauma and aggravation to both the mother and baby. For crying out loud, leave the mother and baby alone!!!! HE IS SO CUTE!
i HATED when the nurse came in and tried this with my son i got pissed and told her to leave she was pushing on his face and grabing my breast and pushing I was like GET OFF me ill never let a nurse help me with this ever agan!
@mrsleandrat that is the nurse's job. Were you a first time mother? Did you just automatically know what to do with no help?? Most people need assistance and it is the nurse's duty to make sure the baby latches and is being fed while in the hospital. What people do with their child once they get home is their problem but until then the nurse can't let the baby go hungry or let a teaching opportunity go missed.
@KCole620 yes I was a first time monther I was speaking from what I thought not what THIS mother thought and yes I know what they do as my whole family is in the medical field NO i did not need to SLAM my sons head on me to have him feed ... so again me PERSONALLY I would have NEVER let them touch my baby in such a horrid manner
@mrsleandrat People in the medical field tend to like to slam babies around.. I am going to a midwife and staying away from a hospital if I can help it.
@Nasjen a lot of first time mothers need help with latching on properly otherwise the baby won't get milk and the mother will end up with damaged nipples which is very very painful. The nurse is teaching her how to do it properly
@khas3028 good point but maybe at least some of them weren't breast feed. most likely a lot of crime committed by those who had parents with not so good parenting skills
@luvsbuffgurls yeah! but I've known people who don't act quite right despite their parents best efforts at parenting! anyway, watching a baby is always touching! mine is just adorable! I just hope he grows up to be a good man. I also hope to be a good father!
Awful nurse. This is why I chose to have a Midwife and give birth in a Birthing Center and NOT in a hospital. My goodness!
